Quick question, I got the same flashlight off Amazon last week and it was working perfectly but then it just turned off. I checked the batteries, but they were okay. Did this happen to you at all?
What I normally do is hold the lamps close to the set, then set the camera settings to manual, and then move the lamps back. This will dim your scent making the effect more clear.
I use sticky tack. I used to stick the paper directly to the plastic light saver piece but in this video, I put a small piece of sticky tack in the light saber hilt, and then put a tiny bit of superglue on the tip of the paper to make it stiff. And then I stuck it in the hilt. All things I probably should’ve mentioned in the tutorial 😅
I don’t know if this guy does the same but I just search up say “Star Wars blaster sound effect” screen record that then add it in with either stop motion studio or capcut
I didn’t realise you used practical effects for everything but I did know you used them a lot. They make your videos really stand out and made me actually try this technique out before you even posted this video lol

Nice tutorial. The ‘intensity’ setting is called iso and controls the brightness while the shutter controls the amount of light coming in. This is very useful for various things. For example, if you want to do motion blur you’d turn up the shutter speed and turn down the iso ( I think I explained that to you on one of your streams once). I adapted this technique from both you and DankMotionsStudios5. Keep it up.

I use sticky tak to connect the light saber to the hilt and the blaster shots to the blasters.
