- All of The Dillinger Escape Plan joins Nine Inch Nails on stage for a show-closing performance of "Wish," live at the Soundwave Festival in Perth, Australia on March 2nd, 2008.
Filmed by Rob Sheridan with the Canon 5D Mark II. Audio mix by Blumpy.
I was terrified for the cameraman's life the entire time
the cameraman is litreally shitting himself
Poor Rob Sheridan. :)
Ben and Greg are good boys - the camera guy was safe as houses
Don't worry this is new Trent the old Trent would have thrown a mic stand at this camera
@@mrkrills8839 muddy Woodstock Trent lol
Holy fuck, did anyone survive this?
love how trent launches himself into the drum kit at the perfect moment ending the song right there!
Trent have remembered his old days in the ending, lol/
RIP coldplay fans
imagine them doing Hurt lmao
@@hksagemusic1617 what Trent say about coldplay? i didn't understand
@@ЕвгенийКафтан i said "imagine coldplay doing hurt"
@@ЕвгенийКафтан he basically said they're irrelevant tripe which they are
@@hksagemusic1617 They covered a part of it in 2005! I went to the NIN shows in Toronto on May 9 & 10, 2005. Chris Martin attended, disguised in a hoodie and ball cap. A few nights later, he performed this show in Toronto and covered part of NIN's Hurt at the end of The Scientist. th-cam.com/video/1wtpUUg-v5E/w-d-xo.html
would love to see them do the whole "Broken" EP in this format
Oh my God, yes!!! That would be perfection!
That would be amazing.
Might be my favorite NIN work, still to this day
@@raulfigueroa588 I can't think of a better EP. Broken is imo the best EP ever made.
"Kind of a poor man's Coldplay." That was great.
"C'mon, ya pussies!"
LMAO
"...and that band is Coldplay"
-The audience had no idea how to react....
i Would have been Laughing maniacally tbh
🤣🤣 yeah!!!
Could you even imagine Coldplay covering "Wish"?
@@99certain45 that would actually be funny to hear
Honestly I would pay to hear fucking Coldplay try to cover NIN
"Nine Inch Nails everybody, Nine Inch Fucking Nails" ))
Greg sounds more like Trent than Trent does.
This shit defies logic, man.
maybe, but when you hear Trent in chorus, you can definitely hear the difference. cheers
@@TeddyWaldon Absolutely. Trent's voice stands out big time. Greg sounds like a very young Trent, though.
He sounds kind of like how Trent used to sound in his broken era
NIN and DEP - how perfect. Took me back to Woodstock 94
Greg Puciato and Trent Reznor singing together in harmony = mind-blowing.
Try finding the one with Bowie if you liked this ;)
To bad its not Mike Patton !!
@@deadeyes5651 Greg suits this style better than Patton.
@@ernestofr128 Patton can definitely pull it off if he wants to.
Greg's voice sounds SO much better kn the 2nd verse. I wonder if that's just nerves or just getting his vocal chords warm?
Either way it's all fucking great!
Greg sounds exactly like 1994 trebt
My favorite musician, _trebt_

WOW. Sounds perfect live! That drum sound is incredible. I still think Broken is NIN's best record.
It's 2021 and this is still the single greatest moment of chaos ever captured.
this is the single best thing ever.
Not enough guitars on stage
Amazing. Two of my favorite bands together on stage. Fuck I wish I was there.
Dillenger has always had a special live magic you can't get in a video. I would strongly suggest people go see dillenger escape plan if you get the opportunity
swayzesghost exactly, last few months!
saw them in 2002 supporting SOAD. They wiped em out
Agreed. But still this video fucking rules.
Too late for me. They escaped, now
Damien Perez :’v
Love how Trent jumps onto the drums at the end, reminds me of the old NIN shows!!
I love when Trent dive bombs into the frickin drums. That would hurt so much

So love double drummer attack. More bands should utilise it
Tomas Minutka look up the "In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up" vid by Ministry, two drummers for the duration of the show, one acoustic, one electric.....amazing
And also Kylesa
I went to a King Crimson concert and they had 3, it was so fucking good
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is a band you can check out
Wow, I never realized 'til seeing this video how similar Greg's voice can sound to Trent's. Awesome video, thanks for posting it!
Be honest, who here DIDNT sing along at least to the "Fist FUCK!" and "I HATE EVERYONE!" lyrics. I love this fucking song, its awesome to see DeP on stage with NiN.
My two favourite bands together. How could this not be awesome?
You know it, brother. Would love to have seen a whole set of them both, trading songs.
That dive into the drum kit at the crescendo is pure fucking rock and roll. I love it.
Holy fucking hell! It's like watching and listening to a locomotive with no brakes. Fucking amazing!!
Wish I could see NIN sometime
You have to. It'll change your life
OMG two of my favorite bands of all time together, sharing a stage, TDEP and NIN, im jealous, very jealous
I like the fact that when Trent is on stage with guest performers, he kinda steps back a bit and lets them have most of the attention. He does it with Gary Newman, Manson and others.
Wow, I didn't even know this was recorded- takes me back. First time I had ever seen NIN and it was an incredible show.
I come back to this every few months, what a great version of this track
I miss the Dillinger Escape Plan :( I was lucky enough to see them live a few times in there heyday!
I love how Trent just launches himself through Ilan's drum kit at the end!
Great mix for a live performance. Props to the soundguy!
I was waiting for Greg to go all out! He definitely held back in respect to it being NiN's stage I think. Great performance!
No song ever gave me a bigger boost than this one, awesome!
Nine Inch Nails ROCKS!!!
The Dillinger Escape Plan ROCKS!!!
Awesome how he crashed into the drums at the end. Its amazing how music can influence actions. lol
rule 1 of NIN: fuck shit up
@@wolfwoodphreakguess you've never seen dillinger's live shows
this is absolutely, positively, one of the most, if not THE most awesome thing i have ever seen.
WHAT IS GOING ONE WHO IS DOING WHAT IS GOING ON
Hate everyone equally
These guys are fucking insane live. It's incredible.
Perfect. Perfect. Let me say it again, perfect. I always loved that cover by DEP. NIN 4 life!!
Goddamn that looked like it woulda been such a great show! So much kinetic energy, I'd expect to get kicked in the head at least once.
I have been to many concerts, no band tops NIN.
Being there live for Wish (my fav song) 2 times now, nothing in the world is like it.
A match made in heaven!
Heh ... epileptics watch at your own risk !!!
How odd it is now not available in "my" country which is also NIN's country. Was pretty available when I first posted.
i saw Dillenger cover this song 8 years ago at the rise up fest in pittsburg. it was sweet
14 years ago! Fuck! What a night!
This blows away every single song ever played!
wish Greg did the last scream "in this world for YOUUUUU!!!!" but he probably decided to not upstage Trent- has a lot of respect for him and Mike Patton from what I understand. TDEP and NIN both rule!
I want to see fnm and nin do something together. imagine Mike Screaming Nin lyrics.
Sachin Devaraj FNM would probably be a good band for Trent to tour with for sure
Dios, me sigue volviendo loco esta versión!!
like it or not both of these bands have helped to change the face of music. to see them together is pretty awesome.
LoVe you Trent - look at how many ppl you inspired - your so FuXing special and so honored to have my mother take me to see you while I was in 6 th grade - ur more then a musician your a Man of God who helps us escape the Matrix - OneLoVe
I've watched this at least 3-4 times, the cover is perfect and can't wait till this the NIN|JA tour
holy shit!!! the best, no, greatest way to start the new year!!!! love the little dive Trent does in the end! fucking classic Trent right there!!!
i will never tire of how good this is
polskaaaa!!!!!!!!
While on tour in 95/96, Nine Inch Nails would open for David Bowie. The two groups would blend their sets together, playing each others songs for awhile until Bowie fully took over.
Thumbs up if you think NIN and Dillinger Escape Plan should tour like this!
This is insane, one of the most intense things I've ever seen on youtube.
i really think that the camera man was in real danger on that stage :D
fucking amazing song performed by 2 fucking amazing bands.
Watching this gave me my favorite brain aneurysm all year 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
That was AWESOME!!!!!
How many people were on that stage? How many were playing guitar? It's nice to see Trent doing something as mental and old school NIN as hurling himself at a jaggy drum kit. I'm sure it's been a while since he's done that.
I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!
lol that was fucking amazing. lucky to all those who got to see that live.
14 years later we meet again...still an amazing performance!!!
this is great, im just sorry for the guys that they perfomed this awesome version in front of such awful audience
so they should burn the place down or what?
@@originas8569 Yeah the crowd loved it.
Love this fuckiing band ❤
There are not enough guitars in this planet that can do this song justice. This video proves it.
This is the NIN i loved the most
KILLER LIVE VERSION
I was at this show. will never forget this set.
like it or not both of these bands have helped change the face of music. this is pretty awesome
The most insane video....EVER.
I fucking love this
The most awesome thing ever since the thing before sliced bread.
Wow such energy...a few of those great, great NIN albums made up the soundtrack for a very confused half-decade. Made us survive.
i love both of these bands
Gotta love how fun DEP has when they are live. I've got to make it my mission to see them one day.
That was....... Too awesome!
This would have been the most amazing thing to see... ever.
Absolute smasher !!!!! Yeah
I know that tours going to e awesome!!!
I love how Trent is the one in this who's doing the kinda mathcore/metalcore screams in the background. That's AWESOME.
Awesome noise and great version with the Dillinger boys
one of my favorite tracks of all time.
For a second I thought it was Gavin Rossdale on the mic. Lol. Its 5AM just woke up to a shared link to this performance so forgive my ass. This ROCKKED SO HARD!! 🤘🏻
I would cut off a finger to have seen this live. I love both these bands and this is fucking awesome.
I can't believe I forgot that this happened
this is the fucking way to end a performance. HELLYEAH
This sound is HUGE
this is awesome
I remember being at this concert, right up the front. Fucking awesome end to the music festival!
The best fucking video I've ever seen. I almost cried when it was over. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST
Amazing
THIS IS SO FUCKING AMAZING !!!!
Holy shit that was insanely awesome!
That was so great. The camera view was fucking badass. It made everything that much better. And, buddy with the blonde Mohawk (Sorry, don't know his name), has such a nice guitar.
lolcoldplay

Dude, it would be insane to have been there. NIN and Dillinger, two very amazing bands!
it's just so hectic and so mental and so goddamnnn fuckin amazing :) :D
I was at this gig, a few metres from the front. Fucking minted!!! Nails always deliver, that set was no exception 🤘✊👍😁
