I appreciate your words of the day. It helps to look inside myself and consider if I am being my best self. Imagine if all that rain were snow, that's would be a lot of snow.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!🎉 I THANK YOU FOR STARTING YOUR CHANNEL BECAUSE I LIKE TO SEE YOUR PERSPECTIVE. AND I REALLY LIKE THE WAY YOU AND YOUR VIDEOS WITH A KIND YOU ALL ARE! THANK YOU😊
Hi Eddie This is lee from northern N.Y.. Hope all with in the new year with the crew .great videos .We built lots of barns in the late 60s&70s with hemlock rough cut lumber .My father and us were contractors then . keep up the good work .
Eddie the reason I watch this channel as well as Marks is that it reminds me of my childhood. Every day when I got off the school bus I could hear that Detroit diesel roaring away and I loved that sound! He ran a circle mill like Marks. Three days went by and no sound was coming over the hill so I biked over and found he had cut into a mule shoe down the middle of one side almost to the curve, Fortunately nobody got hurt except the tin roof that you could put a five gallon bucket thru. That is why I don't mind seeing you guys metal detecting each log!
Hi Eddie! I love watching you operate the loader and hearing your experiences, You had one that stood out with me talking about family's and kids coming out to watch and they get behind the equipment can't tell the times I've been on Brush Hogging jobs and kids would be walking behind where I just cut and I shut down tractor and just waited until the parent would come to ask why I stopped. They were told to stay more than a hundred feet to 200' away and not behind the tractor since things can and do get thrown at more than 100 mph. If they don't tractor gets loaded back on trailer and I leave. I don't want anyone hurt. Now that's my rant for the day. Enjoyed your video keep'em coming. John Toccoa GA
Love your channel Eddie. I, for one, listen to your "word of the Day" you commonly leave us with. A man with a grey beard is associated in the bible with wisdom, and i listen and learn. Thank you for making the Backside of the Mill by "THE EDDIE HORVATH" informative and very interesting to me.... :) Pray your 2024 is the BEST YEAR EVER.. from SE Texas
Interesting video eddie, happy New Year. Back in 1999 a strong wind blew down over 30 real nice tall straight 25-40" diameter hemlock. I cleaned them up and had them milled into framing lumber for My son's garage. I found it interesting how once you put a coated nail in green hemlock. Once the wood dries You can't remove the nails.
Excellent point about sending metal to your customer. Get a reputation for doing that you won’t have any customers left. Great having a New Year’s Day video, thanks for the description of the caricatures in the species. All the best from Humboldt county California.
Hemlock is being attacked by bugs here in NH. I use a lot of it rough sawn in my projects. Mostly 2X framing lumber. I'm lucky to have several small mills nearby to do business with.
Hi Eddie my name is Paul and i am in Australia, and it is good to see that end of the mill as i did it most of my life and it brings back some old memories to me so keep up the good work and Happy New Years to you all.
It's almost impossible not to watch your channel after Marks because I like the prospective I get from your angle and what you do as part of the team. Great content keep up the good work. And Happy New year to you and the guys hope its a great one!!
Happy New Year, Eddie! I agree with the many comments passed along. For a safe operation, communication is key! The one thing i hadnt noticed before, watching Mark in the cab, does signal you on things because from your perspective, you see things he cant see. Thats in most to all his videos. Viewers cannot see, from his perspective, how constant you two make eye contact when he's about to make a cut. From your perspective, you can see Mark look at you almost every time while hes making a cut. Very cool on the communication skill Yall have for a safe operation. I absolutely love watching you two and your team operate Bus Motor Mill. Have a safe healthy New Year!
Thank you Eddie and the crew. Mark and Zee zee. It's really muddy underfoot. OK happy slip and slide. And enjoy your saw milling. Regards from sunny South Africa. Andries. ❤❤❤❤
Happy New Year, Eddie! Tell Mark and ZZ I said hello. I really like watching the two point of view videos. Keep up the great work, and my words of the day is "Be Safe".
Looks pretty dreary there! Much as I dislike the idea, it'd probably be nice to have it freeze up a little to help with that mud. But, on the positive side, Happy New Year and enjoy your day as much as I enjoyed your video!
Great video. The addition of turning on the blower motor. Do you have a “safety meeting” on who is working at what job before that Detroit kicks on? I understand not putting untrained people near any of the machines. Man that Detroit sounds good. I have driven a few Fire vehicles with Detroit’s in them. My Dad remembers hearing about the Paul Bunon at Washington fair grounds. He and my uncle (his brother) talked about it after I told them about the you tube videos, and I told them you are not to far from were they growled up in Evans city.
"How poor are they that have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees?" Othello; Act II, Scene III God Bless the good people of Lincolnshire. Thank you for watching Mr. THE Eddie.
Happy New Year, Eddie. You might want to take the air hose to that sawdust blower engine. Looks like it's getting clogged. And I second what Joe Monks 3161 says about a cover, or a little dog house. Thanks for the video. Jon
Eddie, this was youre best video so far , thank you for this, I hope you and yours had a great new year party, wish you a great new year my friend, hope you're as optimistic as I am 😅
Happy new year Eddie. Thanks for sharing this wonderful video. You are busier than a one armed paper hanger. Constant motion and 360° focus all around your area. Good luck with your new channel. Wishing you and your family a blessed new year. Stay safe out there. Peace brother
Happy New Year Eddie to you and your extended family. I hope that you have a very good year with few issues, Give your mother a hug for me. BTW the videos are great as usual.

What's the average hourly combined total fuel cost for all the various engines you have to run to saw? Bus motor, saw dust motor, chop saw & edger motors, motor for Mark's luxury cab massage recliner? Ballpark hourly total fuel cost?
@@TheEddie1014 I just noticed how many engines you have to fire up to run, and that industrial one on Mark's custom heated, massage recliner must use lots of power/fuel.
Hey there Eddie. If ya don't mind I wanted to ask you what is the thinnest board that ya'll can pinch with your dogs? I was wanting to dog a 3" today it won't reach. I think I'll add to the lower dogs a bit. I appreciate it.
A person could learn a lot by watching your videos. One lesson is on teamwork. Guys working together towards a common goal. Everyone carrying out their own responsibilities that everyone else is depending on them to. Watching out for each other. And communication. Most people wouldn't think they cojkd communicate, or think, feet from a DD 6-71. But you guys do and you make it look easy. Sadly, most people have no concept of how to do so.
I WILL NEVER GET BORED WITH YOUR VIDEOS, YOUR VOICE IS SO VERY CALMING.I COULD LISTEN TO YOU ALL DAY.AND I ENJOY YOUR VIDEOS,
