You have put together another excellent deadlift compilation, I agree with the previous posters comment that Magnussons deadlift simply has to be at the end of each compilation. I look forward to compilation number 4, and leave you with two words: Mark Felix.
When I see a video of someone pulling a huge weight i'm impressed. When I realize that the pull was only for about a 12" distance i'm disinterested... followed by jealousy.
All great deadlifts (great doesn't even begin to describe them) but I love how Magnussons deadlift is just so not from this planet that it HAS TO BE at the end of each compilation. Good stuff as always.
A great deadlift complation, etwade! A lot of great lifts. Also, I hope that you are going to make more of these videos, because you are the only one on youtube that upload such great compilations! You have no idead how many people you inspire to do heavy lifts. It would be cool if you used "Epic Score - They Hit whitout warning". I always think about people who do heavy deadlifts as demigods. And that song give's me a great "demigod" feeling. Thank yoou
Awesome video! I love deadlifts. just started doing powerlifting/bodybuilding after 3-4 years of calisthenics and 10 years of martial arts! Could you tell me the music?
He competes mostly raw. Several months ago he equaled the all-time 181 raw WR of 1,763 by Ron Collins. In the case of a record being equaled, the original record still stands.
Totally slipped my mind. Don't worry; there will be future compilations. I featured him in one of my other compilations as well. As it was, I still had to cut 5-10 videos of huge pulls from this video. There are so many insane pullers out there that if I tried to include them in one vid, it would be 30 minutes long!
My last compilation featured Hansen, so I figured it was time to give Bell and Gunham some publicity. You'd be surprised how many huge pulls I have to cut from each video to make it under 6 mins.
Sumo vs conventional It depends on your center of gravity and also how long your arms are but conventinal will rely on your core strength more then sumo bro
In lbs? Still good, especially if you did not use straps and pure overhand grip. Overhand grip ONLY is the most monstrous way to train. I did 398 lbs twice with pure overhand grip and that exhausted ALL my strength, I was drained and exhausted, but still felt so powerful! Try pure overhand grip, develops awesome forearms!
I think that Magnusson lift will remain my all time favorite for a long time, lol. The only other exciting guy to watch deadlifting that i've seen is Pete Rubish(channel name). He doesn't lift as much as Magnusson but it just gets you so fucking amped to watch him rip that shit off the ground.
Does nikulin not compete raw or something? he could smoke the all time WR at 181 by like 200lbs. Or do we just not hear about russian records on powerliftingwatch?
Deadlifting more in general would be better, but for wresting specific, i dont see either as being more beneficial. Being good at both for high-medium reps would be better for a sport like wrestling that require alot of endurance vs outright strength
Because there is more technique for sumo, it'd probably more practical to just do conventional. But otherwise the difference for wrestling would be negligible.
Go find another sport if you don't like sumo deadlifting! You just don't like powerlifting if you don't like sumo--it's always been a part of the sport. Also, it's a common misconception that sumo is easier. It's not. I pull 600+ convo, but only 455 sumo.
etwade fools who don't lift don't realize that it is mostly personal preference... some prefer conventional some prefer sumo... as long as you get the weight off the floor and lock it out that is all the judge cares about.
"everyone wants to do the easy stuff"? Tell u what, its easier to stay at home watching TV instead of deadlifting. But people do it anyway Stop comming up with stupid excuses Sumo is a lot easier and id you dont know you can pull more weight than conventional then DYEL scrub
ilikebacon247 yes. as long the the foot is in line with the knee, there is no problem. do you even physics torque? do you even science? do you even lift? do you even intelligence?
DavidGrant All of the above, but i was trained to always use my abductors and never let my knees push in. It's just strange to see this form used with such heavy weight.
ilikebacon247 glad you took the joke well man haha. these guys have great flexiblity. same thing for squat no matter the stance, if your abductors sucks, your knees will cave in, and be out of line with your toes, then we have problem. sumo is better for short arms and long legs. notice all the conv pullers have long arms? sumo is good for certain builds and hope that u have the flexibility and abductor strength
Nas Weekes 'who are bench monsters' I was talking about the deadlift. Really? Can you not see a flaw in what you just said? I was talking about the benefits of long arms in the deadlift and you tell him to 'ignore' me because some black people with 'stubby arms' are 'bench monsters' - you just proved my point, long arms are beneficial on a deadlift and short arms are beneficial on a bench press. Oh deary fucking me.
Magnusson's 460 is without a doubt the best deadlift of all time. Nothing comes close.
You have put together another excellent deadlift compilation, I agree with the previous posters comment that Magnussons deadlift simply has to be at the end of each compilation. I look forward to compilation number 4, and leave you with two words: Mark Felix.

Another fantastic deadlift compliation by etwade, music is good and Leeman was a boss repping almost 400kg.
All great deadlifts (great doesn't even begin to describe them) but I love how Magnussons deadlift is just so not from this planet that it HAS TO BE at the end of each compilation. Good stuff as always.
God damn I just love Benny's 460kilo lift. Yells at the bar, runs in, lift. Stands there and smiles and the just puts the bar back down.
A great deadlift complation, etwade! A lot of great lifts.

KK grinding that rep into god damn submission ... that's what deadlifting is about ...
Someday baby...
That last deadlift is the greatest feat of strength I have ever seen and probably ever will see. He looked like he could have repped that, absurd.
I think I cried tears of joy watching this video. Awesome work man.
I almost missed Posdeev's pull when I blinked. Can't believe how fast that moved.
Been waiting for these:) do you think you can do another bench compilation?
Omelchenko is my training partner. The guy is so humble it's incredible, world records will be made real soon by him.
first one hurt my back just by watching
Awesome video! I love deadlifts. just started doing powerlifting/bodybuilding after 3-4 years of calisthenics and 10 years of martial arts! Could you tell me the music?
Every pull on here is awesome and legit. If you do not appreciate the grinding or the sumo form, you are not a real powerlifter.
Magnusson looked like he could have easily done more, he wasn't even struggling with that weight.
He competes mostly raw. Several months ago he equaled the all-time 181 raw WR of 1,763 by Ron Collins. In the case of a record being equaled, the original record still stands.
respect to all lifters, stay strong guys!!
Damn it man you should really put the songs you used in description, they're always awesome :P
Sometimes TH-cam takes them down for copyright is the problem. Mark Petrie is an artist I use a lot.
Awesome! I love these compilations.
I deadlifted 450lbs and I feel weak now after watching this video
i know. idk why i watch these. its hard to just concentrate on myself when i see guys that weigh less than me dl more... way more
@@Nick.Ackerman motivation to get of your ass and do more
Tim Brandon 405 is still pretty good in my opinion
And many others
Totally slipped my mind. Don't worry; there will be future compilations. I featured him in one of my other compilations as well. Great compilation Everett, what's the song used?
both are great. do both. you can rotate between them each week or do them both on the same day. people with bad form should start out with sumo.
My last compilation featured Hansen, so I figured it was time to give Bell and Gunham some publicity. You'd be surprised how many huge pulls I have to cut from each video to make it under 6 mins.
Now Dead-Lift pr is truly life 💪
Leeman @ 2.40ish, is that a double overhand grip? jesus
That second girl, Wei-Ling Chin that lift was equipped right (DL suit)?
Thanks for the upload sick video and track
Any reason why Koklyaev's 920 lbs dead lift wasn't included in this?
Track by MARK PETRI - CHASM!
Sumo vs conventional
It depends on your center of gravity and also how long your arms are but conventinal will rely on your core strength more then sumo bro
great motivation video thanks iam sure to pull a nice pr tomorrow at my meet!
A track by Mark Petrie--Chasm I think?
Che bella tecnica, soprattutto la schiena! Complimenti...
Needs more Dave Hansen.
what was the music in the vid?
deadlifts are goated 😤😤
when I deadlifted 350 I felt like the hulk, but after watching this I feel like loki...
In lbs? Still good, especially if you did not use straps and pure overhand grip. Overhand grip ONLY is the most monstrous way to train. I did 398 lbs twice with pure overhand grip and that exhausted ALL my strength, I was drained and exhausted, but still felt so powerful! Try pure overhand grip, develops awesome forearms!
thanks bro ill try it out!!!
Omelchenko has a great shot at Ed Coan's 901. He's the closest of anyone isn't he?
I think that Magnusson lift will remain my all time favorite for a long time, lol. The only other exciting guy to watch deadlifting that i've seen is Pete Rubish(channel name). He doesn't lift as much as Magnusson but it just gets you so fucking amped to watch him rip that shit off the ground.
What this song please
Great Video
How tall is Kutcher?
Check out my other compilations. I have all of Coan's all-time WRs. @181, 198, 220, and 242.
to much sumo with an over under grip..I thought it was considered a progression exercise? my favorite lifter was Leeman at 5:25
song name?
No Ed Coan?
George fucking Leeman !! The babyslayer. He has a youtube account and he is uploading every day search him !
George Leeman is not human. Who the hell reps that shit 4 times lol. Should check out the video he did with Elliot Hulse, good stuff
Does nikulin not compete raw or something? he could smoke the all time WR at 181 by like 200lbs. Or do we just not hear about russian records on powerliftingwatch?
Unbelievable! Gant at 0:41 lifted 5 times his bodyweight...
1.17 Belghetti 4.7 x his body weight!!! Absolute madness
insane video!
Bene's 1015 = Greatest lift of all time ???
2:32 I thought he lifted his arm in the middle of the deadlift lol
Love how Kutcher went apeshit at 1:07
me too, he went full toastmachine
Deadlifting more in general would be better, but for wresting specific, i dont see either as being more beneficial. Being good at both for high-medium reps would be better for a sport like wrestling that require alot of endurance vs outright strength
I think he may pull sumo when equipped, conventional when raw--at least, that's what I've seen.
i can only do double over hand reverse feels akward
1:20 is almost 5x BW :O
3:11 longest ROM for sumo lol.
ed coan the greatest all time!!
Because there is more technique for sumo, it'd probably more practical to just do conventional. But otherwise the difference for wrestling would be negligible.
How can people do sumo deadlifts, id hate to see that amount of weight just drop on your toes and crush them flat
Depends how wide your stance is. my stance isn't too wide therefor i never worry about it.
incredible!!!!!!!!!
Magnusson is a fucking monster!
Benni is a savage
He uses starps but they are yellowish similar to his skin color that's why you cant see them
Watching this every time before going to pickup chicks from the nightclub
Jarosław Olech 320 kg 74 kg class
No one but Benni will be at the end.
Never knew Obukhovich was better at sumo than conventional
hook grip I'd say. no one double overhands that.
too many sumo. i would have put in tom martins 350@82 and boltons ex wr
Double overhand with straps.
HOly crap @ 0:37 seconds!!! That's 5x his bodyweight!
52kg chick lifted 185kg? The weights seems to be more like 52kg ..
I just got an hernia just watching this
When will it be my turn? Everett check out my recent pull!
I felt the same
holy hernia
The easiest lift was the heaviest.
1:07 how i feel when i beat a personal best
Iceland viking!
Nice to see some drug free lifters
that moment when 110 pound girls deadlift as much as you do :O
1015 can fly
would you stop putting sumo? it sucks
Go find another sport if you don't like sumo deadlifting! You just don't like powerlifting if you don't like sumo--it's always been a part of the sport. Also, it's a common misconception that sumo is easier. It's not. I pull 600+ convo, but only 455 sumo.
sumo is just as legitimate as conventional. if it was easier, every top deadlifter would use it. but they don't.
etwade fools who don't lift don't realize that it is mostly personal preference... some prefer conventional some prefer sumo... as long as you get the weight off the floor and lock it out that is all the judge cares about.
if it was easier every1 would pull sumo
"everyone wants to do the easy stuff"? Tell u what, its easier to stay at home watching TV instead of deadlifting. But people do it anyway
Stop comming up with stupid excuses
Sumo is a lot easier and id you dont know you can pull more weight than conventional then DYEL scrub
@basco for some tall guys like me sumo is better
yaaaa J-F Caron vive le Qc
those sumo deadlifts look bad for the knees.
They aren't. They are standard practice throughout powerlifting, and no one gets hurt knees from them.
etwade even with hundreds of pounds of force pushing down on them from an unnatural angle?
ilikebacon247 yes. as long the the foot is in line with the knee, there is no problem. do you even physics torque? do you even science? do you even lift? do you even intelligence?
DavidGrant All of the above, but i was trained to always use my abductors and never let my knees push in. It's just strange to see this form used with such heavy weight.

i can deadlift 1000g
lol...i know right. I felt like a little bitch after seeing that chick lift. Damn i got a long ways to go.
2:35 - 3:00 wut
В конце дурень переступил через снаряд)))
too many sumo.
Sumo deadlift looks shite.
you look shite, mate
Heath Nguyen with a picture like that I wouldn't make that kind of comment ya fat spastic.
305 kg with 60 kg own weight!!
he is lifting his own weight 5 times and more ...
i need 20 more kg to reach 2times of my weigh.
He locks out at his knees, many black males have longer arms so it's beneficial to their deadlift. Plus he's strong as fuck and works hard.
