Aladdin 3 - actually pretty good
Aladdin 2 had such contrived plot points. He gets blamed for lying and keeping Iago secret even though he was going to tell them. They started to guilt him on it before they even knew it. Didn't even give him a change to bring Iago up. But he also didn't learn anything from the first movie. Just made the same mistakes again. Everyone in that movie is just kind of awful.
I'm not saying Aladdin hinges on the portrayal of Genie, but it sure seems like it.

Think about the day that he couldn't find his wife or son being the day Aladdin meeting Genie (Not true), but Aladding wishing he was a prince and his father gets the idea to stop looking and becomes the king of thieves. Which led to whole not searching anymore after the day.
That was my thought the first time I saw 3, many many moons ago.
When I saw the notification of the new video it only showed the words "what happened to Aladdin's " and for some reason I thought the next word would be NIPPLES

Sleeping Beauty, Moana, and Rapunzel have both sets of parents too.
Even though his mom never appeared in the remake, there was a deleted song that both Jasmine and Aladdin sang, and they were both taught that song by their mothers. They actually reference the song in the beginning of the movie.

Fun fact: to be an orphan, you don’t need both parents to be dead. Your mother just needs to be dead, or unable to care for you. You can have a perfectly alive and wonderful dad and your still an orphan. The term was coined to be an easier way to describe children in awful situations, because at the time if a child didn’t have a mother they would be hungry and filthy

I think we'll see Jasmin's mom. The parents that 'appear' in the Live-Action movies are already mentioned.
Where Jasmin's was mentioned in the original, Aladdin's wasn't, and I think they'll keep to the original storyline instead of the sequels.

White (technically grey, there's no such thing as a "white horse" unless we're talking "overo lethal white" and as the name suggests a horse born with that 100% lethal gene dies) horse = money
In many cultures, grey horses were used as a symbol of wealth, so royalty had a few of them.
They're also really hard to keep clean cause grey horses just LOVE to lay in their own pee and turn yellow, or if there was any mud anywhere those greys go to roll in it. Cleaning them to make them pristine white took money, so while other people of lower income could get their hands on grey horses they couldn't afford to clean them as well.
EDIT: To add, in case anyone asks. No such thing as an albino horse either. The gene just doesn't exist for horses. Any horse labelled albino is most likely a cremello, which is just a chestnut with two dominant "cream" genes and are still tinted yellow.
There are some white genes that are rare. It is called dominant white and the horses are born with the color and stay that way, unlike the grey gene. It can cover the whole body or most of it or none of it.
And Norwegian Fjords (horses from the movie Frozen) are all different shades of dun so not even they are technically grey as the breed doesn't carry the gene. They just used a very light colored dun.
But yes, there are no albino horses, and most "white" horses are actually grey or cremello/perlino/smokey cream.
@@emilyapelgren648 Dominant white is more of a pinto/paint pattern than a color. They still have an undercoat, just covered with large white marks like any Paint. You can get the same effect with splash. It seems pretty new and barely researched so I don't really know much about it.

There are horses with Leucism, who are dominant white, so their whole skin is pink, and their whole hair is white at the time of birth. Grey horses that appear to be white are born dark grey or black and turn white with maturity. So while totally white horses are very rare (because it is a genetic mutation) they do exist, and they can survive as long as normal horses.

3:28 there's a popular theory that states the Genie's wish to make him a prince actually DID make him a prince... by having his father become the KING of thieves. Meaning he wasn't always that way, but Genie made it so after he granted his wish.

Finally watched the movie (it premiered earlier here 😅).
Sadly, both Aladdin and Jasmine's mothers don't appear in the movie. Jasmine's mother though was referenced throughout the movie, with Jasmine telling Dalia, her handmaiden, and her father how great of a ruler she was and how she would have been disappointed seeing Jasmine being locked up in the palace.
We know what happened to his mom and Jasmines mom! Just watch the musical Twisted!

I am glad you pointed out the wish. It made me think of a theory I thought of a few nights ago. Aladdin was not a prince, until he made that wish. When he made that wish, his father became the King of Thieves allowing Aladdin to be the Prince of Thieves. Unless it was declared how long he had the title of King of Thieves, which in that case, it changed his past giving him the title at the time he says.

I loved the Broadway Musical! I wouldn't even be mad if they included some of the side plot lines from it in the remake! And Proud of Your Boy, while it does derail the story a bit, is such a beautiful song, Id love to see it in the re-make.

Proud of Your Boy is a beautiful song and the reprise which is included later in the musical displays his dilema about getting success under false pretenses allows for a stronger character and gives him motivation to make things right

For adults who like Aladdin, you should watch the musical Twisted by Starkid. It's on TH-cam and is amazing (and very mature).
Clay Aiken did a cover of "Proud of Your Boy" on the Disney Mania 3 CD, which was released in 2005. It even says on the CD that the song was from Aladdin. It was my favorite CD as a child :)
