Sans clearly just has a very convincing cosplay in the ruthless route, even chara is fooled by it at first! you only fight this sans guy in evacuation, crossbones only fighting you on pacifist/neutral is a little bit specific, why could that be?
The evacuation is a special neutral route that occurs when you abort an obliteration route. The route is pretty different from normal neutral after that since everyone is evacuated.
Evacuation seems like a gamestate Basically, if you exhausted the kill counter of one area (Killed everyone and farmed for it, like in genocide) but don't fully go all the way for an actual Genocide route because of one reason or another, then a good chunk of the game from that point on will be "evacuation" (Assuming that going further you're able to redeem yourself as Papyrus says he'll help you to, and thus revert back to a more usual Neutral Run)
* Crossbones is eradicated in the journal, but "Skeleton" (Sans without the Crossobones alter ego on) isn't, implying the goofiness of the character is dead but as a whole he's still alive
@@MadHymek323 I am sorry if you didn’t get the joke. But, this is a Batman Arkham Asylum subreddit joke where the original goes something like “Why does Batman not kill the Joker? I opted to play Neutral first and the dialogue seems similar to Pacifist, just that characters like Sans and Papyrus keep reprimanding you for killing people.
The evacuation route isn't a replacement of the neutral route and it's more of a abandon genocide route. The evacuation route starts when you abandon the genocide route during or after the Asgore boss battle. During the Asgore boss battle it's revealed that he called for an evacuation of Monsters and at that point and onwards most of the npcs will be hiding from you despite you abandoning the genocide route. There is some new stuff like the Muffet boss fight ending differently, the new sans boss fight and your character sprite changing to fit the route, but it's mostly the monsters being a bit confused on why you suddenly stop killing them.
@@Gabriel21359 Mostly ya, also I might be wrong because the game is still a demo but it seems that if you attempt a genocide run halfway through a neutral run, the run will shift into the evacuation route.

Why is this sans wearing the classic hoody in the evacuate route though that was papy to wear
so it was a cardboard cut out.. so is he dead? or…
I think it's meant to imply that you took the last of the innocence and patience sans had left, "crossbones" is dead, but the skeleton remains. Which means in the full game we either A. Have a rematch fight with him later that ends in his ACTUAL death, B. He still plays the "judge" of the underground, as papyrus is still too nice for his own good (despite the placement swap, the personalities stay the same.), fighting you in a last ditch attempt to keep you from the Queen, or C. he just goes to help the evacuating monsters because he knows he can't stop you.
@@itsyaboimason7069I mean,TS Swap paps is goofy tho,lol

And flowery said papyrus can get angry... and I hope we can see that anger
This fangame made me love Sans
and what did Sans want to do with 38:49 ? He wanted to shoot Chara, but didn’t have time? Or did he forget that he is not the main one in the fandom like in Undertale? I just do not understand 😕

So is evacuation this game's version of a neutral route? Or is it a special fourth route?
The evacuation is a special neutral route that occurs when you abort an obliteration route. The route is pretty different from normal neutral after that since everyone is evacuated.
"obliteration"
deltatraveler brainrot is real@@cinnamonroller6405
Evacuation seems like a gamestate
Basically, if you exhausted the kill counter of one area (Killed everyone and farmed for it, like in genocide) but don't fully go all the way for an actual Genocide route because of one reason or another, then a good chunk of the game from that point on will be "evacuation" (Assuming that going further you're able to redeem yourself as Papyrus says he'll help you to, and thus revert back to a more usual Neutral Run)
monsterkind goes on high alert if you kill a lot of monsters
@@theultimatefusion7265I would honestly prefer if the player got stuck on evacuation gamestate. Actions don’t ever get erased.

Is he stupid?”, this guy did a joke similar to that since crossbones takes *very obvious* inspiration from Batman in some aspects of it (I wonder what….), and thus the commenter found it funny to make a comparison to that joke since this is a similar logical leap to the original.
Why did Charcoal kill all those monsters? Are they stupid?
@@toz_lmaowhy did Sam not kill Clara the second they exited Ruined Home? Are they stupid?
What happens if you do a neutral route that isn't the evacuation route? Is it just the pacifist one but with different dialogue?
Yup. Along with a few other stuff added in
I opted to play Neutral first and the dialogue seems similar to Pacifist, just that characters like Sans and Papyrus keep reprimanding you for killing people.
Yeah neutral is practically the same as pacifist aside from dialogue changes and crossbones stopping you from killing Muffet and Koffin K
Whats different in the evacuation route?
Is it the replacement for neutral and does anything interesting happen?
@@ultraz9319 so in a way it's just a heavily altered neutral route but ,everyone still assumes I'm gonna kill them all.
@@Gabriel21359 Mostly ya, also I might be wrong because the game is still a demo but it seems that if you attempt a genocide run halfway through a neutral run, the run will shift into the evacuation route.
what the genocide song called
Why the ell would sans, the personnification of laziness, would fight you on pacifist.
On pacifist it's mostly just pretend fighting and Sans is doing it for Papyrus, to make a cool action hero film for him to record. You see Papyrus say "and cut" at the end of the fight.
@@ultraz9319yeah and doesn't papyrus say he wanted to be the superhero but couldn't because he was already too busy or smth?

For TS!underswap all the characters swaps their roles with each other but they keep their personalities.

Rather than swapping the characters to fit the story (the one you probably see in Undertale), they swap the story to fit the characters

he just said "I...won." This is Chara, he/she no longer cares about level, experience or anything the moment we win this battle. @@bonny_69No it's fine man. So going back to the subject, we don't really gain anything from the battle because it's possible to see that after you open the menu, the LV remains the same. Also I see a comment from a person saying that we kill not Sans but *Crossbones* (because we kind of destroyed all his fun and patience, breaking him completely), so yeah, there is a high possibility of Sans being alive and we fighting him again in the next release of the game..
(Btw srry for making you read this long ass text I wrote).
i dont really think that the cardboard represent something so metaphorical like that. I also think that from the dialogues we have when we die, Sans clearly doesn't seem fed up and continues making his typical jokes. and from the way he surrenders it is clear that he could continue fighting without problem, but he knows that its in vain at that point. Although the menu thing makes a lot of sense, we'll have to wait and see.
thanks for the patience@@HArthurV

Yes you are right @bonny_69, it's better to just wait. I just thought that the cardboard representation makes sense in a way because in the check part it is said: "Can't keep up this charade forever". So I assumed the connection.
