No joke... but... I watched all of it and it was.. heartbreaking. I started like, crying when I knew Clover would sacrifice their SOUL for them. I couldn't even stop crying, this is the first time I cried really hard for a video game ending. Ended up swearing alot, too.

Honestly I really loved how this game made the environments a lot more personal and "lore-based". Undertale was riddled with puzzles that would seem way too out-of-the-ordinary to the normal monster passing by. Excuse being "yeah, the monsters do this to entertain eachother". But I feel like Undertale Yellow really did it a whole lot better. Areas that are simply just casual. And for ones that do have the random puzzle that makes no sense? Well, characters react pretty fairly to them, like Ceroba with the panel-bot. And with the ending, it shows the monsters in their day-to-day lives. Yes, they are a step further to freedom, but in the grand scheme of things, they're still in the underground, and humans are not common to come by. Really, Undertale Yellow doesn't have a true "happy ending". Neutral, the underground is in more despair than it ever was. Pacifist, Clover, the one friend to everyone, is dead. Genocide, Clover's the only one who gets to live. However, it doesn't need one. That's what Undertale is for, to give everyone (implying the human souls were able to go back into their bodies after Asriel destroyed the barrier) a happy ending.

Just beat her after two hours of attempts and damn, it really feels like the perfect end to a genocide. Sans tries to make you quit by using psychology. He tricks you, mocks you, but once you get the hang of it you start to see the patterns in his attacks. Here with martlet it’s just a constant barrage of shit thrown at you, she really doesn’t want you to win, and if you think about it it’s a clash between two different senses of justice, which really makes it fit even more!

I like how the game better acknowledges that you've killed a ton of monsters even if you aren't on genocide

does sparing them cancels the genocide route?

From what I've noticed, I don't think Ceroba's mask actually grants her any power. Ceroba was literally in tears trying to kill you in the first phase. I believe the reason she wears the mask is to remind her of what she's fighting for and, more importantly, to hide herself from the atrocity she's trying to commit. As a result, her LOVE increases, giving her the power up we see in the 2 phase and beyond.
