man they really did a whole sequence for something not a lot of people would see no wonder it took 3+ years. though it is cool that you can spare sans in geno
True. The devs are creative putting a newer method that Undertale never thought of. Different ongoing approach if you miss your every FIGHT purposefully then ACT. One of the most unique option ngl
There's something compelling about a Chara that got *THIS* far, but had bought into Papyrus and their encouragement so much, they genuinely backed down at the very last moment, and would rather lose to Sans than kill him. There's absolutely *zero* hope of redemption by now, and they've already sunk so much into doing unspeakable things that aborting is almost pointless, but they didn't care. They stopped committing at the worst possible time *just* to not harm that one person who believed in them. This one might never know if Sans is actually able to dodge attacks, because they intentionally missed every hit anyways. To them, they might think Sans is truly a one-hit kill, and they are holding back fatal blows.
It would be interesting if the (two) next area(s) of genocide is unabortable (you can't proceed until you clear the kill count) unless you do something of this level to abort it. You have to go out of your way to show you're capable of redemption.
I mean, kinda makes sense,he did see that you genuenly didnt want to fight through entire encounter so he really could give it a thought even if he still gonna call us a piece of s**t
This actually makes a bit more sense because sans leaves during the fight, so you can't kill him anyway, and I think he knows on some level, that he can't stop you for now.
Technically he still doesn't let you go normally, you only get this one if you do very specific actions during the fight, in most cases he'll just make you think he's not gonna do anything before doing a cop out and insta kill you
This makes me wish for a Failed Genocide ending in Undertale and I mean by this the ability to spare Sans by doing exactly what was done in this playthrough and miss every attack on purpose
was that genocide sans fight reference when he talked about Papyrus and Grillby. I mean, they don't actually have grillby's in Starlight Isles. It's literally replaced with muffet shop, just like in canon underswap. But there he purposely talks about grillby's. there is no chance they actually go in crystal springs just for the grillby shop.
Welp,in starlight isles have MUFFET main bakery shop in the original undertale you have to reach the hotland to get there but in TS!Underswap it in the second area. I think there is a grillby bar in the 4th area
I think it's cool that there's this possibility because i was kinda disapointed that genocide (and pacifist) are not that very easy to stop in ts!underswap like in Undertale
To be honest, it kinda feels correct? You don't just go dusting an entire community and then say, "Oops. My bad." The genocide run is deliberate and intentional, so being able to go full stop on the route just feels wrong.
Wait, geno-neutral route 2??? Like, everybody knows if geno in ruins and spare everything in starfall, you will get "sans" fight(not crossbones one) so, we will get alphys half-undyne mode?? Or something like it???

It’s earlier in the underground so sans believes that you can do better just a little bit more
7 years of undertale yellow feels like 4 years of works for me 💀🙏
is the game complete yet

Honestly my headcanon for this is that they were traumatized after killing Harry and Larry and the weight of their actions crashed down on them
Oh, so you CAN spare Crossbones
That's interesting...

Wait.. So In The Judgement Hall Papyrus And Sans Teams Up?
@@nevergiveu.up101 Possibly
Or Sans could die in some earlier segment in most tragic way possible
i think toriel will be the hardest boss in geno
@@AlienTheInvader unless pacifist or neutral idk

That is very surprising. I didn't think that sans would actually let you go. This game sans really is different from undertale.
What does papyrus say on the bridge after this?
@@JacobCooper-in9tc same as in the evacuation route.

you can't do that since in genocide you kill papyrus and he wants you dead@@xxsegaxx
I was expecting:
"Do you really think I'll just let you go?"
"Because you'd be correct"
This game is VERY detailed
dont forget that this location was made for 7 years
The way too late evacuation route.
Huh. An Actual Spare Method. Clever.
Fun fact:If you keep repeating the genocide run,you get alternate dialogue from sans after the second or third run
Having fun yet?
He remembers your genocides?!?! 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Sorry brainrot kicked in
@@JesseFea it's alright it happens to me too fellow sigma
human........ i remmebr you're ruthless's

you can go back from there and find koffin k at the ferris wheel if sans is spared

In ruined home, after sparing asgore
And here after sparing sans

They did have a grillby's but it's closed
He can teleport wherever, and Grillby's is a chain all over the underground in this universe.

Posting an alternate route I've been looking for for a while AND you have a Re:Zero pfp? Absolute king
So many details
So are we not gonna talk about how he slides off screen and calls Papyrus in reference to his actual death in Undertale? Like you did NOT
I'm pretty sure if you go to the Ferris wheel, koffy will be there
What does the book achieve said after that? What status he's set on?
"Discarded" - not sure what Chara meant by this

it just changes after dying a lot
Sans bein the vigilante. Cool.
