@@Jumpboy5100sort of, yeah, but because the 500kg lands in the direction that you throw it, you can maneuver yourself so that there aren’t any tall rocks behind where the bomb would land. Trees are a lot more unpredictable though
You can throw or shoot the fabricators doors to also blow them up, I think the door needs to open first though cuz I can ever destroy one with the door closed
I’ve been taking the Strafing run over the 500kg lately, the fact that it goes out in a straight line from where you call it makes it feel like an extremely strong support weapon with 5 shots lmao. Once you start treating it like a primary and using it as much as you can, it’s hard to go back
I prefer the purifier because it have more ammunition, you can fast fire it in an emergency, it have less drop and it is more accurate, for secundary the senator of course and the rest I use the same loadout since a lot of time ago (obviously I started to use the purifier and the senator since their buffs), I have tested all weapons and this is the best general purpose loadout for the toasters hands down, some times I change the 120 for the precition strike because for some things it is more fun keep trowing bombs everywhere, mostly for patrols
I have an important question regarding the Shield Backpack. I have heard that if it gets hit with something that would ragdoll you (for example a Charger or a rocket from a Devastator), it does actually ragdoll. Which is very unfortunate, since the shield increases your hitbox ba a lot. That sounds like a very bad trade for me, since once you get unfortunately ragdolled, chances of dying are highest I feel.
You also get slowed by bile spit regardless if your shield takes any damage because “realism” I guess? Pisses me off they yap about realism yet chargers turn like f1 cars, stop like a damn corvette Zr1 and can climb steep terrain like they are mountain goats. Plus we r in the future and we really don’t have any friendly targeting systems on sentries… really? It seems like they like the realism that makes you suffer but if the realism benefits us we just cant be having that.
I feel like the 500kg has been pretty inconsistent so I run the eagle strafing run instead. Then I change up the orbital depending what I’m feeling, but everything else practically the same. Great build! Also, iirc, a charged plasma pistol shot will stagger shielded devastators, stopping them from shooting. 🎉🎉
In my opinion. the HUGE advantage of 500kg is that you can insta-complete the whole list of side objectives without a need to call-in the Hellbomb or pray to RNG barrage gods: - Destroy Rogue Research Station - Detector Tower - Anti-Air Emplacement - Mortar Emplacement - Terminate Illegal Broadcast (this one can be easily cleared with RR/QC though)
hey takibo, at 32:58 there's a climbable path to your left, if you took that you could avoid the fight with the hulk and expose yourself less, but if there are enemies at the radar tower that need fighting you risk a backstab edit: there is also a path you can take behind the radar tower that is safe from fall damage. you can also climb up the left side of the mound with the terminal, meaning you can sort of go behind the whole thing and avoid even more enemies (if there are any)
Hidden objectives on Geological missions is a hell no for me lol. Always check modifiers before diving. I avoid this headache 100% In contrast, Neutralize Orbital Defenses with that modifier is a breeze lol
True! I like how the modifier says 'Poor intel - The objective is hidden' and then the orbital cannon just blasts the hell out of your eardrums from the opposite part of the map and shoots the red 450mm blast into the sky with a skyscarper-sized cannon. Like how poor the intel needs to be to not spot this one? xD
Geological survey missions with poor intel aren't that bad, you can easily find digsites by just checking the map Also there are always some samples around and sometimes enemies which makes it even easier to find
@Strav24 cooldown sucks for sure. Roving gunships is easy for me. I just haven't figured out how to look for the geo spots. I remember running around forever just looking for the dig sites getting frustrated
@Shway_Maximus if you look at your map enough you can start to pick out weird terraon formations, my crew has gotten good at finding nuke nursery sites, stalker lairs, seaf sam/artillery, and gunship fabs, the buildings are super easy. Geo sites are usually a circular clearing or have the rocky overhang thingies. Hard to explain but the poi's really stick out if you look at the terrain instead of just radar elements. Also lots of seaf objective sites have the towers with the flashing yellow lights
Hey man, my favorite loadout is heavy armor, sickle, senator, thermite, and then for stratagems I like 500 kg, orbital precicion strike, and eagle airstrike. Autocannon is so versatile and can take out mortars and AA defenses, and the new Flak rounds are crazy for smaller bots and striders
orbital 120 is a great delete button for bot drops, the shell can kill dropships in 1 hit, my required strategem for bots is definitely the walking barrage, bot bases are usually rectangular or at least the fabs are all in line making it easy to take them out, also consistently killing detector towers from 100m away is amazing
@person9846 most missions i play? You call it on a bot drop because the cooldown is so low, drop ship flies in to drop enemies off, boom, ship an everything on it dead, and everything that came in the ship that doesnt get hit gets hit by the next shot. I have a clip of it headshotting a bile titan too. All the orbital ship upgrades make 120 really saturate its blast area
I've always used the scout armor for no reason in particular. After trying other armors after the newer patches, I realized the bots are a lot less accurate when shooting at you whilst in the scout armor. In any other armor, I just got mowed down immediately.
You're not wrong; the scout's passives are a bit broken against automatons. First, because you can shoot enemies from a distance, and they simply ignore your shots. And if you engage in direct conflict, for some strange reason, they prefer to prioritize your companions over you. Using that armor with smoke grenades, a jump pack, and some stratagem to destroy factories turns the game into a cycle of entering, exploding, and exiting.
@the_takibo I got my first solo clear of 10 with this built. Wasn't full clear and wasn't deathless but I mostly consider the Reinforcements a 5th strategem. I did also swap out for the Spear to 2 tap the bunker mission but I do like to see the Quasar getting some love.
I use a similar build but to save myself from crossbow fatigue (it's in EVERY BUILD) I use the Reprimand instead. This way I also avoid needing to take a seperate high fire rate stratagem.
i love it that every video i see from super hell dive that there are less enemies around than on helldive. i have like 3 patrols around my targets and within the target another 20 enemies and here. nothing.
All depends what you want to cover! For the big fortresses the 380mm might be favorable because it can cover a greater area, as well as enabling the destruction of buildings like the Eye of Sauron via 380mm size and overall more damage. The 120mm barrage however has a tighter formation and a lower cool down so it can be used for stuff like breaches or a turn the tide stratagem with closer (not too close though Lol) support without as much fear of killing you and your allies. Definitely bring both on a run sometime to see the difference! Both are amazing.
I'll say in general, especially for bots, the 120 is better. Just big enough to clear off light-medium outpost. It's also really good to take out reinforcement or factory strider and the low cooldown means more uptime. IMO, 380 work better on the bug side with the giant nest (tho the 120 is still really good there too)
It totally depends on what you’re planning on doing, but I find the 120mm to be a little bit more consistent at clearing the area you throw it at simply because of its smaller radius. With that said, 380mm can be great for bigger bases specially when you find a factory strider in the middle of them as it will mostly like it take it out and most other units in the area. Just keep in mind the 380mm has almost an entire minute extra of waiting time than the 120mm
Ehh. Eruptor is fine. Maybe a tad more explosion radius for the shrapnel would be nice, but everything else is fine, IMO. Explosive crossy is also one handed. That alone will always make it better than the eruptor.
500kg only weakness is trees
Any vertical terrain lol. It's like when you call a backpack/support weapon in and it lands 200ft above on a cliff.
