Every AAA dev was once an indie dev. The future is bright with as much talent as is present in the gaming industry right now.
Now I wonder if sand storms and blizzards are just a technical device to erase our prints regularly because otherwise they would take too much space in the program's memory.
the most interesting of all is that the in-house engine made for helldivers is actually based on 3d modelling program (3ds max) which is literally a nightmare for the programming staff, but turned out extremely optimized
0:01 you can actually see this in Subnautica and it's pretty common
GTA 5 and subnautica have done a real time eclipse before. Pretty cool that helldivers 2 went the extra mile to include it too though.
It took me awhile to finally get this game and play it, just got it 1-2 months ago, but I knew it wouldn't be a let down. They really just hit all the right notes. One of the best games ever, I love it.
HD2 is almost like a spiritual successor to the old Mercenaries games. Only other game I can think of that put so much emphasis on calling in artillery support, etc.
Love to see someone publicly celebrating this stuff!
on the first one, brother that’s a moon. you’re experiencing a lunar eclipse from the moon.
amazing video thanks so much for pointing all this out always great to see such attention to detail and demonstration of love for the game (both by the devs and by creators like you)!!!!
Never noticed it was a planet, dang there are so many great details in this game.
The fact reloading a mag can set off a land mine is nuts..
I freaking love this game and the Developers. Cool to see all this stuff that I would've missed otherwise so thanks for the vid!
The skybox in this game is so fucking beautiful
The people who made this game must have really loved it to be this detail-oriented about it.
Now THAT'S a Helldiver!
Btw you can see the exact amount of bullets in your mag hit the floor. So once you reload you look in the mag that’s on the ground and you can see the bullets. I thought it was a cool detail. Also the sights are reflective with the environment like reflections with the sun or the nature behind you
been a tarkov main for almost 4 years. been playing helldivers a lot recently and it feels like i stepped away from a toxic relationship. these devs made a true gamers game. i love it.
By the way, a while back i think you spotted that snow didn't stick to helldivers anymore, they added that back in recently (I think, it looked like it was back)
that's the reason they deserved the awards. Imagine an universe where Ubisoft, Blizzard and EA took those details in the account when designing and making games? they would never do those things right now (I hope I'll be wrong).
Some areas on snow planets let you make snow balls. Throwing them at squad mates drains stamina for like 3 seconds then regenerates.
I see a labor of love 2025 award on the horizon.
My favorite detail is when you can throw snowballs on a snow planet.
You could even say that this game is atmospheric.
You forgot the Terms of Service on the wall near the end, telling you that you are practically selling your life to super earth and it it no longer "Your Life"
10/10 for the halo music alone great video
You play to stomp bugs, I play to admire the accuracy of simulated orbital dynamics, we are not the same.
Halo music really fits this game
