@@horatiochachi9508 from my experience same number of Gardas can not fully screen against same number Karnak agressors (the vasari one with missiles). So by the early-mid game when even AI fields 40+ Karnaks only a flak burst can protect your capital ships from dying to few salvos. Advent getting it even worse: point defence cruiser is locked behind lvl3 hostility research, so capital carrier spam seems like only viable option
Excellent game. When games like stellaris aren’t scratching my cinematic space battle itch, sins absolutely spoils me. Every battle feels fantastic and the game runs buttery smooth.
Since the last Advent patch is online, your Advent has a Bug with unity, if the "Mothership"(Capital Ship with Shield Reg and Unity + ) get destroyed you cant use Unity/Abilities anymore ! Pls fix it Thank you

Yeah, the diplomacy screen seems like a placeholder. Especially so if you compare it to the first game. I beleive it's improvement is on the roadmap somewhere. Anything higher than "Hard" (level 3 if you count "Easy" as lvl1 and "Medium" as lvl2) has cheats
Getting every armor upgrade as vasari then building 6+ carrier caps for the armor regen ability is laughably effective and frustrates the hell out of anyone focus firing one of your big ships
Yes, this! Frustrating players by making single strategy/build so effective is bad game design. It makes Vasari predictable and boring to play with or against. Devs really should take a look into balancing it better
On the subject, "You don’t want to let them get that far but if you do, you want your own version: - Guardians are your ‘healers’: mainstay of any Advent fleet comp, ‘staying power’ vs the Vasari in this case, stack enough to match their enemy - idk how many here - Radiance capital ships with Detonate Antimatter: This is for the ability disable silence more than AM depletion, but does both - target the carriers. You’d micro all casts against individual carriers in ideal context to silence and shut down their healing ability. - Dominas in theory can fulfil this role but if you’re vs any Vas titan they have lots of anti subcap power, and you don’t want to lose all these to one Maw - Your choice of DPS source: Exorias have pros as above due to firing arcs and you can amass more, the collateral damage on enemy should also strain any healing they do. - Destras may work better for single target execution but lack the area damage to stress the Skiranta repair cloud, and suffer from firing arcs. You may also not have full plasma upgrades. Pro you have over Vasari here is your ‘healers’ aren’t ability dependent in a way that can be precision targeted, you can disable theirs more directly and deliberately Con vs Vasari your best answer is to out micro them, an endgame Vas cap fleet can do well on auto cast without micro, and their titans counter subcaps"
Also the tip in this video on rushing vasari shield regen feels so out of left field for the defensive capabilities of the vasari. It's their insane health/armor regen early (and late lol) that's their main strength, especially with the disposable ship item for it and just a few research upgrades.
What is the fleet composition? I always get whack by swarm missle spam by advent, and kanrak missle spam by Vasari.. Any tips? I spammed lots of flaks, also useless
Flak frigates focus on not dying, instead of killing the enemy. You want to get the flak burst item on your caps, and kill the enemy with Cobalts or Kalevs. Kanraks also can be killed with Shriken Corvettes, Tempests need something with higher durability to negate their good DPS and 360 firing arcs.
Vesari administrative uplink is still OP and the +1 influence still needs to be removed from it. .... The Advent sill needs a militia compared to the TEC Garrison or Pirate Raiders, or the Vesari Dark Tower.
From what I've seen, those anti-missile tips are really needed :)

@@battlemode I asked mathematico to check. Looks like it's true if you're playing defensor/raider spam, but if you're playing caps it's not great.
