There's a game like that called Ampu Tea, where you make tea with a robot arm. Then get frustrated and flip the table, because the robot arm keeps ruining the tea.

This is the most increadible rpg I have ever played. Nonstop lore and endless wordbuilding. Ever since I grabbed Roxanne’s size 11 shoes I knew she was my npc waifu. Never had so many creative quests to complete each contributing to the lore on the smallest details. 10/10

This game kinda reminds me of an existing game I have. I forgot the name, but basically you’re a painter and you board on an island and befriend the people and take painting commissions. All you do is explore the island which is pretty, interact with the NPC’s (if I’m not forgetting you can make a kid jump off a roof) and paint. 😂 Found the name: Eastshade Looks a bit like Skyrim.

This reminds me of those hardcore roleplaying persistent world servers for good old Neverwinter Nights. No one could actually go out adventuring because starting gear had massive penalties, and for gear with no (or at least lower) penalties, you needed astronomical amounts of gold. So everything everyone did was just stay in the starting towns and spin tales about the grand feats of their ancestors. Because *THAT* is "true roleplaying", and not doing quests and exploring the world according to the people who ran these worlds.
You should have ended it by activating full PvP. Since it's the only other thing to do, and everyone is the same level, it would have turned into an immediate bloodbath.
This is literally the first I've heard of this game ... and they've made a 2nd one. 👀 I was half-expecting another vapid "make a game" simulator, but this is actually kind of fascinating. I enjoy theme park games, and this is an interesting take on that formula. You know what, I spent all these years hoping Frontier would release a new and improved Planet Coaster ... but forget that for now, I want them to make a game like this instead! 🥺🙏
The way the game begins is so cool in my opinion! You get all these shots of your landscape while the credits of the actual game appear on screen, and finally, your stupid name appears....
I could actually see this working in real life. Honestly some people get tired of the constant conflict of lots of games. Maybe just hanging with your friends and everybody having their own unique style would be something they'd like.
I like to think that spifftopia is in an alternate timeline where instead of early mmo's being battle grind focused games instead were super story focused like this for years and then a WOW style came in with grinding and people go bananas for it
@@insaincaldo With fetch quests, you can run to the different points as fast as you like without interruption. With escort quests, the NPC walking with you is slower than a disabled snail and will stop following you if you walk too far away from him.

Instead of having several cities in the zone, you should have the entire zone be the city. Just keep expanding it and expanding it with an ever-increasing number of fetch quests. XD

That being said, the update that adds customizable dungeons should be coming this year and that'll be a pretty big one. It's not the most exciting game and it will never be, but it's a unique one and it's a very neat sandbox

I wanted to like MMO RPG Tycoon 2 so much, but when I played it quite a while back there was no option for scaling stuff. I though the GIANT barrels were visually detracting and couldn't get passed it. I'm glad the developer added it! I think I'll load it back up now.

Every quest is essentially a fetch quest. You can express a fetch quest like this: do X get Y. Fetch shoes get gold. Kill skeleton get loot. And so on. More elaborate quests are just multiple fetch quests. Search castle for key. Use key to open door, get map. Use map to find treasure. Kill goblin for chest key. Open chest get loot. All quests are fetch quests.
