Great series. I’m glad you recognize some placebo effects and are real about it. Most of us mortals can’t tell a difference in a lot of these mods but the battery and servo are two I think a lot of us could, very helpful.
loving this series! Im running B7 this season and had my first track outing last weekend and just love the car, now it´s a matter of getting to know the car more and get faster
yes he can explane stuff that is good to know and show a differance. but if its intentional or not sometimes their is lots of inconsistency and plane scams like the video with before and after ceramic bearings where before where with pinion on and motor dident alow drive train to rotate and after it where witout pinion and drivetrain could spin freely.
FWIW, in the vehicle dynamics part of my mechanical engineering education they do talk about the advantages of bigger unsprung weight vs sprung weight...
Great video 👍 I wish we had large hobby shops in Australia like A Main hobbies. It's hard to get stuff for nitro like actual nitro, parts, hop up parts, nitro engines, fuel etc. we tend to have to resort to places like eBay etc. the internet destroyed our local hobby shops 4:29
Yeah, it was monopolizing compnaies like Amain and Horizon that destroyes those lical hobby shops. You're literally wishing for your own demise. These big distributors are matket manipulators. They charge whatever they want because competition no longer exists.
You should give the promotion vipers a try. They have a harder and softer compound too so you can get some more life out of them if you need with the harder compound.
Only upgrades noticeable to average humans are mainly tires tires and tires. Other than that, shock positioning, ride height and body/wing make noticeable differences.
I'm confident that a lot of B7 owners would be very surprised to find their chassis has the same bend if they took a close look regardless of whether or not they've had a major crash or not.
"Saving pennies that adds up to some real money in the end." I agree with the statement, but we all know in RC it works the opposite. It's more like "Spending pennies that adds up to some real money in the end." Next thing you know, you've got an expensive tuned rig and an empty wallet. Oops. I don't even want to know how much I've spent on my B6.4 over the years, more than I care to admit that's for sure.

It’s crazy how fast those front tires wear out. Nice series overall I liked seeing the upgrades and what worked and what seemed like it was placebo.
Really love this series. I have a B7 so it’s very interesting to see how you guys get on with the changes. Brett is awesome as always 👍🏼
I just got my b74.2. Any upgrades you recommend

Man I wish you all had this layout for regionals. That big jump on drivers right was killer but still fun!
I love this series. You are pretty dang good at this.
Great car for sure. Tlr guy. Who cant wait for their new 2wd
im loving the videos so far, cant wait for part 5
You do such a great job explaining in and outs..👌.been watching the last 5yrs or so.

Thanks for the great videos. Im making a b7d over the holidays so ill be referring back.
Good driving cool track
Awesome video guys!

Great video 💯
1474g is the min weight for stock racing. Looks like you would need some additional weights in that buggy if you use the LCG battery 3:57.

Would love to see a losi mini build series
Love the video buddy
It's a freaking rocket ship.
Nice 👍👍👍
did you race though underweight with the LCG or put in a battery weight?
it would really be worth putting the 2.5 degree bulkhead on the car. does something to the steering. 95% of the setup sheets ive seen run it
so its worth to get a short chassie to gain performance and corner speed?
need to offer longer servo wire on the new 815 servo

Hey enzo here Just got the new futaba 4pm plus
Excellent! That's a great transmitter. How are you liking it?

I am curious………… what was the total cost for all those upgrades for us mortals with no sponsorship.

@voodooreptiles3553 nope they wouldn't be surprised?
Maybe that's why the original Gold tub had the sides...

Buy all the r1 upgrades
Lol, I have every single R1 upgrade except the rear hub weight. They were out of stock at the time of my last purchase
Please do this series, but Stadium Truck
Also, pick a color yellow (not yellow) or white (always white) you cannot mix the two, or a kitten fails to get adopted at the local animal shelter.
Are there any stock parts left on the car? What a joke. -U10

have my XB2-22 since new and its like darth vader not so much left from the original car 😆
Please do a similar series with the new GROMs. A similar sized dirt track would be incredible with the Mojave or typhon grom
Grom doesn't need a series. It's prebuilt and made for fun not racing. You can cover the info In about ten minutes.
whats the name of the guy doing the videos was he a pro racer b4 he looks like someone but cannot put finger on it
My name is Brett. I used to race a lot of off-road and touring car back in the day, although not professionally.

Seems like you've nailed the weight loss (in your wallet!). How much have you spent on this B7...??!!
Thats overkill 4 an 8scale servo lol
This car looks fragile
Sheesh u drive fast @AMainHobbies 😅
A lot of tracks use the ROAR weight limit of 1474. Also, the LCG pack will have lower resistance, so that's why you probably saw the peak at 120A.
