Last summer I was unfortunately diagnosed with StageIII but after a number of operations and some chemotherpay I'll be on that climb on the 7th May to get that box ticked 🙂 hoping for a time of just over an hour but will be happy just to have done it (great video and inspiring)

It’s so small, but I rode a metric century yesterday (longest ride I’ve done) and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without my brother-in-law riding with me. My favorite is Trolli Brite Crawlers. 2) The last thing I want to do when I'm suffering is spend the extra energy filming etc, so good on you for doing that part lol 3) Do you think doing the last ascent in the dark was helpful? I only ask because I ride in the dark a lot and I find there is something nice about seeing only what is lit up and just pedaling while focusing on that. It could be different when you're in such a hurt locker, but I was curious what that was like for you.
During the day I really didn’t want to end in the dark… that was my aim to not have to do that! But actually, I think is was really cool… made the end more interesting and probably helped me get through… especially as I had the guys for company!
