Hey guys great video I just purchased a 2020 polaris 1000 ranger SOHC. Quick question on this video in what mode were you typically on turf mode or 2wd or four wheel drive? and is it ok to drive on turf mode 90% of the time.
Nice! In this video I was mostly in 4wd and sometimes 2wd. When I am at home using it I stay in turf mode so I don't mess up my grass. When I am trail riding I do not use turf mode. Thanks for watching!
Awesome video, was this filmed recently? Seems like the trails are very wet despite that lack of rain in recent week(s)? Also do they police the trails?
Thanks! Yes it was just filmed last week. I did not see anybody policing the trails when I was riding.
Do you think the tires would clear with just the forward a-arms and no lift? Great video!
Thank you! I had rubbing issues with just the lift kit and had to buy forward a arms. Now i have no rubbing issues at all. I think it depends what tire you buy. The carnivores are a true 30 inch tire but some other tire manufactures say they are 30 but only measure 29 inches. I think they will fit but you might have rubbing issues when you turn your steering wheel one way full lock. I found out the hard way after i bought the tires and rims.

I noticed you have a squeak in the rear from suspension. Mine does that as well. Have you identified where that's coming from. I was hoping it would go away after break in. Can't locate it
I believe it is the rear sway bar. I just need to lube it up. The sound went away after I went through those mud holes.

Yeah it was definitely fun plus the best thing was it was free! I will definitely try it. Did you just put it in a spray bottle and spray and rinse.

Great video me and my wife went and looked at one to day a white one paint looked nice lit different than they was few years back I’m torn between it and the teryx I my wife wants me to get a razzor but for my style of riding and I think this should be just right come deer season throw the stand in the back and hit the woods . I wonder about reliability I own a 2018 sportsman four wheeler I haven’t had any issues with it but my buddy’s that have Polaris there’s seems to always be in the shop have u had any issues with yours
Thank you! I have had no issues with mine. It is perfect for hunting and trail riding. It just depends on your riding style. If you want to go fast, jump, and have a better suspension then get the razor but if you want to hunt and just cruise the trails get the Ranger. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching!

So after that abuse to the windshield how did it hold up? Can’t decide on what to go with. Definitely like the vent option but if I go glass it’s 1200 bucks
It held up good with no issues but you have to be careful how you clean it. If I had to do over again I would go with the glass windshield. I don't like how it flexes when you are trailering the unit. It looks like it wants to fly out. Also you have to watch how you clean the windshield or it will scratch and you cant add a wiper.

Have you ever came to Pa riding? Lots of nice places in the northern and central part.
This is the only place I have ridden in PA (Bay view). I would like to ride some other places in PA like Mines n Meadows. Definitely heard there are some nice places just have to research it.
UTV DIRT I’ve always wanted to ride at mines n meadows but haven’t made it out yet. Check out ssrt.org, bloody skillet, whiskey springs, and tri county atv.com they are some nice places I ride at. Not sure how far out into Ohio you are.
I live in Northeast Ohio so I am about an hour away from Mines in meadows. I will definitely check out those places. Thanks for the info!

Yes I installed a HMF exhaust. Good deep sound and not to loud.
Can you add a windshield wiper to that windshield?
I don't think you can. Plus it would probably scratch easier. That's why I ceramic coated it and the mud and water just beaded off of the windshield.
Where did you get the straps for your trailer?

Yes mostly high gear.

How fast were you going?
I wasn't really paying attention. It was up and down probably the fastest I went was 40 on a straight away.
@@UTVDIRT I find it hard to go slow so I'd probably destroy my ranger on rougher bits.
Lol if I was by myself I probably would of went faster but I had 2 other people in the unit.
