Hey everybody! Winch update: Following this video, the Ranger sat in a dry garage for one week, and when I returned to it the winch was working properly and has been ever since. In the next instalment of the series, we'll take a deep dive into the winch, including trying to figure out what went wrong. Thanks for the feedback and stay tuned!
I enjoy this content so much more than the most other shows out these days. Best stuff since Doug Meyer and ATVTV. Great work Stephen (and Dad). Thank you, Roman. Keep it up!
Really good segment, guys! I'm a Honda Talon owner, but I still love the utility side x sides. This one looks great, other than that pesky winch situation. I'm sure that'll get properly sorted. Please let us know what you find. As always, thanks much for sharing. BTW - I'm from Oklahoma, where we've been socked in with crazy rain, flooding and tornadoes this spring. But, I've got to say, I think I'd rather deal with our weather than your BLACK FLIES! Steve
My 2000 Kawasaki mule 2510 had a built in snorkel that was stock and it didn’t need a belt vent. It has a v twin that’s like a 500 cc and low enough gearing to pull out a stick Jeep. And it’s all stock. Don’t know why it’s such a huge deal that a new SxS that’s a special addition has a snorkel which is “so cool”
Normal for Canadians in the bush this time of year unless its really dry. lol You either get used to it or dose yourself in DET. It probably explains the heavy safety coat. Where is the fuel tank vent line and the diff and trans vent line cause goin that deep in the water would make me wonder if fuel tank or diff would fill with water
I would love to have this model but I need to know do you have a piece that covers the whole ride as far as the driver basically like a hood on a car in case it rain you won't get wet and how much is the cost on this getting back with me
Neil Murphy hydroline is referring to power line we get hydro electric power, that’s why it’s called hydro line. The hydro line has a cleared trail following the line.

Ah black fly season the only thing possibly more annoying than mosquitos. lol. Especially when you get the bloody horse flies mixed in with the bunch. Dear god those things hurt.
What would have been a bit of a panic is if that Polaris had rolled over when in the lake, and our Stephen seat belted in!! I mean by roll over, is those tires have super flotation and the Polaris with driver would have been top heavy so a floating roll over could easily happen.
I'd recommend you test everything on a new machine where you are warm (relatively) safe and dry BEFORE you start torture-testing the machine. That winch might not have worked on Day 1. :)

How did that fuel tank snout handle that deep water ? Wouldnt the vent fill with water? Did it get water in the fuel tank?

Side by side to big for most trails what are they for the farm?
That is exactly what they're for! Farms, construction sites, line workers, etc.
I find I can fit my sxs down most quad trails. A little tight on the less used ones, some rubbing.
Why is there a push mower in the middle of nowhere on the trail
