If Toyota gave a new truck to everyone that put a million miles on their Toyota pick-up, they would be giving away half of their fleet. It's really not uncommon for these trucks.

That is truly never heard of a truck lasting that long.I have a 2009 Tacoma 4 cylinder with only 75,000 miles on it and this video makes me feel good knowing that Toyota Tacoma's are truly built to last.
Congrats Mike! I'm the original owner of a 2006 Access Cab 4x4 but with the V6 with the TRD Off Road package. Just turned 347K miles up here in NJ. Continued good luck with it!!

I've always had a fascination with Toyota's. First one was a land cruiser than a new 88 standard pick up. Hand some rav 4s 2011,2017,2019 Hybrid 2021reg had to have my Hybrid back 2024 XSE s. They've been through a lot together. God bless you and thanks for your kind heart.
This is amazing! I just got my access cab Tacoma! I'm proud of my Tacoma and fell in love with it when I took it off the lot. I'm doing some preventative maintenance on my Tacoma now and was waiting to find out what his maintenance is like. What was regularly done when it hits 5k,10k, etc..I was thinking of trading my 2008 for the newer one after the 2008 model just for the newer features in the vehicle, 4wd, and newer design on the front..but I love my Toyota and the way it feels driving down the road. Keeps my family safe and reliability. In my younger days I inherited our 1995 Toyota 4 runner, we never had any major issues with it along those years we had the 4runner. I was young and didn't think the 4runner was cool enough and we traded her in. Now I wish we still had that 4 runner. I still remember my family coming home with that brand new 95 4runner and first thing I said was, is that ours? Haha I'll be working on doing an oil change soon, engine coolant change, and cleaning throttle body, was was your regular maintenance jobs on your Tacoma?

Great story, yes Toyota must reward its loyalty. I had a 96 Tacoma 4x4 2.7L 4 cyl, I bought it in 2007 and sell it ten years later with 296K miles. I missed it. They where built like tanks. I was taking a U-Turn under a bridge, the day was rainy and the concrete road was slippery so I drove like 10 or 20mph when turning the truck didn't make the turn so It slips and slamp onto the concrete container wall and hitting the side of the front passenger wheel and I get scare but after checking the tire was Ok and just scratches at the rim and the truck drives straight and ok, no damage. Awesome.

When I was younger I would get new trucks at 75k miles cause I thought 100k was high mileage. My last 3 Chevy trucks I ran 275k mi and sold them in great shape. Now I like paid off vehicles and planning to get a gen1 tundra as Toyotas run forever. Wish I still had my tacomas from back in the day.
Cool story. I just recently bought a black 2005 Toyota Tacoma SR5 access cab. Currently own a 1999 Toyota 4RUNNER SR5 HIGHLANDER SP. Just recently sold my 1989 1st generation SR5 4RUNNER. I did a lot of work to it but it just kind of got out of control and much too tall for me to continue getting much too tall for me to continue getting in-and-out of.... So that's why I bought the Tacoma
What a nice guy. I have a 2002 Tacoma that I bought new in 2002. It's still shiny, 4X4, V6, Limited and I've never done anything to it. It's always been driven gently and it has about 258,000 miles; no alternator change, no starter change, just an O2 sensor at 105K. I did replace the timing belt at about 110K and belts and radiator fluid. I use synthetic for all fluids (transmission, differentials) and hope to pass his record (if I live long enough)! I'm retired now but can't use it for Uber because of its age. Too bad. Great vehicle!

Thanks!!! Appreciate you watching and subscribing :)
I certainly agree Toyota, please fine it , in your hearts to give this man a new truck.
Incredible story and very fun to watch. If I were Toyota I would have Mikes picture at the Toyota headquarters in Japan.
I totally enjoyed telling Mike’s story
This guy is a legend
Looking forward to the channel appreciating longevity. I’m just an amateur owning a 2003 Camry 200K and a 95 Saturn 300K
1.5 million miles wow. Can’t beat a Toyota
You pushed a Saturn to 300,000 miles? Impressive. Most of those were burning oil by 60K miles and completely done by 120K miles.
I think it's time for Toyota to have a 7-digit odometer.
Let’s go Toyota, hook this man up!
Glad you did an update I was thinking about this the other day…have a Jeep and hate it…want a Tacoma…not bad to put 1.3 million on a transmission
Unbelievable!!!! Toyota's going to need to add another digit to those odometers... TOYOTA, buy this man a new Tacoma!
I would love for Toyota to fully restore this Tacoma and Scottys Celica
That would be incredible!
@@AutoJeffReviews I agree.
Amazing!! GB 🙏🏼😊 I have been debating a 4cyl vs 6cyl, so this is great info! Thank you~🙏🏼
I have a 2008 Tacoma Tacoma, Can you remember the first time you changed the Transmission fluid? Thanks
Definitely deserves a new truck!
awesome 4-cylinder, 2.7L 2TR-FE engine !!
dang!! , I won’t be able to buy an inexpensive used one now for my Home Depot errands😞
Rewatching in honor of Mike. 🌺
Even though I’m not thinking about selling my Tacoma, I need to re-check the resale value of my truck!
I hope mine holds up that long mine is a 2012 200789 miles.
Congrats neighbor.
Toyota need a museum for those remarkable owners and legend vehicles
If this thing ever breaks down, it belongs in a museum
Omg totally haha
Hi, God bless you n your marriage n your truck. Love your video. You inspire me. Question: do you use anything special like fuel or oil additives?
Nope
Can’t wait my Tacoma to arrive
