    This thing is a BEAST, but it's not for most people (because of the expense). But for the 5% of you that'll ball out on an engine like this, our hats are off to you👌 Plus, to get this much power in a package this small is pretty incredible.

      You are right, spending $1500 on a $200 engine is equivalent too gold plating a turd. Can't wait to see what this gold plated turd does.

      For $1500 I'd rather buy a dirt bike or atv motor and put it into something. You wouldn't be paying that much if you weren't sponsored by GPS.

    For the price of this engine build you could LS swap a go-cart.

    • @CarsandCameras
      @CarsandCameras  5 ปีที่แล้ว +185

      No doubt. Not a fair comparison though. No one is cross shopping a 212cc engine with a 350ci engine.

    • @ClintonRyanThompson
      @ClintonRyanThompson 5 ปีที่แล้ว +101

      I think you guys are missing the point.. if they wanted instant high HP numbers, yes, an LS swap would happen... I think it's more of a 'let's see what we can make out of this with our own fabrication and learn new skills doing it" kind of thing. Thats why I enjoy this channel.

    • @ROTAXD

      Zoron Stillwater yep, that’s why it’s the most popular engine swap in the industry, right ? Guess what, prior to the ls, the go to motor was the smallblock chevy. But let me guess, you want some turbocharged 16 valve 4 holer to dump into your ma’s accord don’t you. Typical. Go enjoy your soy shake.

    I'm still learning small engines and 4 stroke theory, I gotta say that whiteboard session actually gave me a mental breakthrough on how this stuff works. Even in a small engine, changing ratios of separate operations can make a huge difference. It's so fascinating.

My norm is to vent head to a common bigger hose that runs up as high as practical with a filter or similar to let it breath. that way oil keeps trying to run back into engine. your way are you really venting anything?
