I was never a real big disco fan; however the music reminds of the Rush Street /Division street of the early to mid eighties scene--in Chicago. People weren't angry--they just wanted to engage.

My sister would comfort me & she’d play this song & we would dance to this song. Up to this day when I hear it, I still picture my sister & I dancing & brings a smile to my face
I know what you mean sometimes I hear songs from my childhood and I can remember what emotions I felt when that song was a hit! Some good or bad. This song reminds me of the 80’s we loved watching all the good movies this played in the movie short circuit! Yeah I was getting beat around this time too.
When I am listening to BEE GEES… aka the great gibb brothers HEAVENLY vocals and harmonies… all off my worries are washed away like the ocean waves…. Ahhh! This was the song that my wife and I eloped to. I always make sure that I listen to it every weekend, but I'm also pleasantly surprised when it pops on my random playlists during the week.
Me (21) and my bf (26) both hoped this song would be our love songs before we met. After almost 2 years together, this song never has lost its magic between us. It’s a relationship that’s more beautiful that I could’ve anticipated with love that only shines brighter each day. This song encompasses this feeling like no other.
I fell in love with this song a long while ago. I don’t know the year when it was introduced to me but I do know the person who introduced it to me. It was none other than my grandmother and to this day this is the one of the very few songs I still listen to to celebrate her memory. Heck, I’m listening to it right now with a friend on a call and she seems to like it as well! I remember singing this with her too while we talked and reminisced about her past. Rest in peace grandma Cosette I love you and I hope you’re resting well 🤍
This is among the 5 best songs in the history of music! It is an absolute masterpiece. This song should be regarded as one of the reasons it is worth living for.
Facts last night I was got high and I played this song and it was so good it felt short so I played it a couple times and I still want to listen to it later.
I seen a girl dancing to this on the street when me and my friends were downtown bar hopping one night when i was 20. I fell in love immediately. I jumped in and danced with her all night long. It was PURE magic. 8 years going strong. I love you baby. Edit: Okay guys apparently some folks have never heard of paraphrasing before. I took a long story and made it easily digestible without all the little nuances that go into a human interaction. Like I said we were out downtown one night. Bars everywhere, music everywhere, streets closed off for this annual block party. When we first got down I noticed a good sized group of people dancing to a live band in the middle of the street and made a mental note to come back later to check it out. A few hours (and more than a few drinks later) we ended up stumbling back to the "entrance" - if you will. The next hour or something basically consisted of sitting on the curb drinking, smoking cigarettes and running into people me and my friend group knew. Out of the corner of my eye I seen this girl dancing with her friends while she was rocking these giant pig tails flailing all over the place, dancing like her life depended on it. I'd look back after each song to see if she was leaving so maybe I could approach her and introduce myself. Fast forward like 20 mins later and they're still going strong lmao. So I said "fuck it", I'm going to make a complete fool out of myself - and just jump in and hope for the best. All the liquor and what-not certainly helped my decision making process in that, I promise you lol. That's why this song will always have a special place in my heart BECAUSE of that moment I decided to make myself look like an idiot (task failed successfully). I was half expecting her friends to get mad but they just kind of left (or they could have been mad, I just don't remember). After this song was done I introduced myself, my friends came over laughing hysterically that I actually somehow didn't get slapped in the face and the night had just continued on, turning into a profoundly fond memory. We got a drink after that, considering she had been going for like 30 mins at that point. Went back to the dance floor and rinsed and repeated for a good few hours. We still go to the downtown block party mostly every year unless we're somewhere else in the world. I honestly never realized some people could find this so unbelievable, but I can also put myself in their shoes. Because finding that someone is no easy feat i've found out. I thank the universe everyday for giving me this lucky break that I will never take for granted. You'll find yours some day. It's never too late.

❤ I wish you were my grandfather, we can party away like Saturday Night Fever 👍🏾🙏🏾
@@danisanzu679Hi, Dan! I can’t be your grandfather because I’m an 81-year-old mother, grandmother of four, and about to be a great-grandmother. But if I were your grandfather, I would gladly party along with you to Saturday Night Fever music of the BeeGees. So glad you appreciate their wonderful music!
Am just 32 and I feel in love with their songs 18 year back
My 6 month old son will be SCREAMING and as soon as he hears this song he’s silent and falls back asleep! Thank you beegee’s!

I've been hearing the Bee Gees for a year now, and their music can't be compared to music nowadays. I love all of their albums and songs. The greatest group ever!
