Would of been a nice, explain a little of why he specifically got left for last. And actually link in the last two films to this one. Technically he's name is never said so its possible, add in a single line by Freddie of killing Alice's boy and it fits.
Late response, but John Doe was actually going to be Jacob at first. The original script had Freddy kill Alice, with Jacob going off to avenge her with the help of the ghosts of Kincaid, Taryn, and Joey, who had become the "Dream Police". Jacob would then be killed off two-thirds, leaving his girlfriend to become the protagonist the writers thought no one would see coming. Freddy would have also absorbed Springwood into himself as part of a plot to attack other towns. But director Rachel Talalay hated the script, and Lisa Wilcox refused to come back as Alice again, so the script was heavily rewritten and it was left intentionally vague if John Doe was Jacob or not, since they had no other plans for him. They still reused some of the major plot points from the original script in the final version though, like John dying partway through (Jacob's girlfriend from the original script was rewritten into Maggie).
I thought this was just the comment meme like “It’s Morbin time” so I snorted when I read this thinking “of all movies I can definitely see Freddy be the one to actually say this” and when Freddy _actually_ fucking said it I started choking on my food
He was trapped in Springwood, couldn't go beyond the confines and John Doe was the only prey he had left. The traveling time line is more that he was using his daughter's mind to smuggle himself over the border. The breaking of which signified that she had broken him free from his captivity. In other words the killer dog stuck gnawing on a single person, catching and biting off small chunks, and letting them go because they have nothing else to eat. Then comes the one that can get it free from its makeshift cage, bringing two meals that can help it regain its strength, and it can finally eat that which it had been forced to let survive for so long... Best of all for him is that she inadvertently takes him to new hunting grounds...

He actually said that he’s going to be doing the Halloween series before 2018 is over. He didn’t say when he was doing it. But it’s most likely going to be in October, tho.
We almost got a more interesting 6th film than this. Peter Jackson was asked to write a script for what would have been the sixth film: His idea would have started out with a weakened Freddy Krueger who no one takes seriously anymore, to the point where teens made a game of deliberately going to the dream world to beat him up. Once Freddy does start gaining power again, the main plot is kicked off by a boy having to enter the dream world to rescue his father.
Jackie McCann i like that idea, imagine some punk trying to beat Freddy up just to realise too late why people used to fear him, he could also have his sweet revenge on Alice and her kid (i hate them), then bodies would drop like flies and the new guy would go to save his dad from Krueger.
Ugh everytime I hear about how cool this movie would have been I get upset. It sounded so cool and so much better too. I bet alternate universe me would have enjoyed it.
I actually think that the failed attempts were referring to freddy trying to kill kids in hiroshima and nagasaki but failing because you can't kill someone who is already evaporated by nuclear holocaust.
As terrible as the movie is, I find it more fun to watch than The Dream Child. Like some people like Jason X over the New Beginning or Halloween: Resurrection over the Curse of Michael Myers. Amazing video as always though, can't wait for the next Friday.
Peter: Oh no! Lois: Oh no! Stewie: Oh no! Chris: Oh no! Judge: can everybody stop saying oh no cos the fucking Kook aid guy keeps.... Freddy: ohhhhh yeahhhhhha
Say what you want about the direction of this film, but Robert REALLY shines in it. And you’ve gotta admit that this film had the best Freddy makeup job and glove EVER!
The thing I hated about this movie was that it never answered what happened to Alice from the two previous films , we had to wait and read the comics nearly a decade later .
I'm hoping it's a reference to the classic Twilight Zone line, "There are thousands of Maple Streets," but I don't give the film makers that much credit.
So New Nightmare on the 2nd, the remake on the 9th meaning a new franchise on the 16th. The day before St Patricks day! Looks like we've got Leprechaun videos and O'rish accents coming
I love the alternate timeline stuff at 5:39 The 1066 date refers to the Norman conquest of England. 1492/1493 is obvious. 1812 is most likely referring to the War of 1812, a conflict between England and the United States. As for "1869- Freddie kills Marie," I'm a bit more vexed. Initially, I only found one person with the name "Marie" that died in that year-- Jean Léonard Marie Poiseuille, French physician and physiologist (blood pressure)-- whose death would be ironic considering the specifics of his profession. There was also a royal (Princess Maria Carolina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies (1822-1869)) who died that year with the name Maria. Upon heading to Wikipedia, I found the following Maries who died in 1869: - Marie Amélie Cogniet, painter and writer - Adrienne Marie Louise Grandpierre-Deverzy, painter - Marie-Catherine Huot, "superior of the Congregation of Notre Dame" - Jean Léonard Marie Poiseuille, the aforementioned physician I can find no record of any individual of sufficient fame to merit the name drop of "Marie" onto this chalkboard. I'm probably missing something extremely obvious. "The Crash" is referring to the stock market crash of 1929, herald of the Great Depression. The timeline also implies that the famous painting "The Scream" is actually Freddy (thus, "Munkh sighting," similar to Munch, the name of the painter) Nagasaki and Hiroshima were attempts by the US military to kill Freddy, who was most likely inhabiting the anxiety-riddled dreams of the Japanese people as they prepared for what they believed was an imminent Allied invasion. The idea of Freddy killing Elvis as he's taking a crap is simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking.
The Q-Tip thing traumatized me as a kid. That and the scene from I think Nightmare 3 where Freddy is a bunch of wires on the motorcycle. Eventually my Mom actually deafened herself with a Q-Tip when I was a little older. She was cleaning her ears and then the phone rang. She picked it up, forgetting about the Q-Tip and put the phone to her ear. Instantly punctured her eardrum.

A movie so bad they named the main character John doe...
Your right
James' expression in reaction to the wicked witch Freddy is priceless.
Next series is gonna be leprechaun. I bet all my gold on it.
I’m betting it’s Halloween
He actually said that he’s going to be doing the Halloween series before 2018 is over. He didn’t say when he was doing it. But it’s most likely going to be in October, tho.
HEROSAM12 ya with the new one in October.
Ive been saying leprechaun since litterally beginning of februrary lol...
I was thinking the same thing b
"That is correct" god I love Chris Farley
I forgot it was Friday and got so excited when I saw this
DienamicDEVO No, it's elm Street
Puncherjoe1 😫😫😫 James doing kill counts on Friday -_-
You are a genius
Did you clean up afterwards?
I 'm watching this on Friday...
NANI?!
7:37 Carlos
9:50 Spencer
10:38 John Doe
14:33 Alice Cooper
15:09 Loreta Krueger
16:10 Freddy Krueger
Oml i watched one video...ONE AND I CANT STOP....I LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH
Lmao same!
Everyone who thinks the next franchise involves a Leprechaun say yeah!
Luke Custer yeah
Bleh
Yeah
No
TheWatchDogHD do u really think james would do a nightmare on elm street, Halloween and Leprechaun all in the same year
We almost got a more interesting 6th film than this.
Jackie McCann would have been cool..
Wow that actually would have made a much better film.
Such a wonderful movie that would of been, but we got stuck with a steaming pile of super spencer.
9:43 That Freddy with the power glove looks so fucking cute😂
Avgn
Lmao
That thumbnail Freddy looks like he's about to say "Mmm, this cereal is yummy~!!!" or something!
Kai Silverhawk That’s the POWER GLOVE!!!
BUT THE CEREAL SAYS WE ARE FUCKED
He's transitioned to full blown cartoon character
"Nope, nothing wrong here"
(You get demon praise if you get that reference)
“Hiroshima and Nagasaki attempts fail” *picks up phone* is this alex Jones?
no this is dog
I actually think that the failed attempts were referring to freddy trying to kill kids in hiroshima and nagasaki but failing because you can't kill someone who is already evaporated by nuclear holocaust.
DIO Brando “oh your approaching me”
No this is library
James: ITS THE ELM STREET HOUSE EVERYBODYS FAVORITE CHARACTER
literally everyone watching this: YEAAAAAAAAÀAAAAAA
This film is basically just a live-action Loony Tunes episode.
*That is correct*
Chris Farley reference.
We miss you, Chris.
RIP
As terrible as the movie is, I find it more fun to watch than The Dream Child. Like some people like Jason X over the New Beginning or Halloween: Resurrection over the Curse of Michael Myers. Amazing video as always though, can't wait for the next Friday.
Max the Scarecrow I completely agree I also like Jason x and resurrection tho so maybe I just have a spot that likes terrible movies
kids
isaiah cordova agree.
Freddy: OH YEA
Kool aid man: oh no
Peter: Oh no!
Lois: Oh no!
Stewie: Oh no!
Chris: Oh no!
Judge: can everybody stop saying oh no cos the fucking Kook aid guy keeps....
Freddy: ohhhhh yeahhhhhha
I actually really like the ghost town spring wood, it makes a lot of sense that everyone would leave to avoid their kids getting killed
Say what you want about the direction of this film, but Robert REALLY shines in it. And you’ve gotta admit that this film had the best Freddy makeup job and glove EVER!
The makeup looks terrible unless the scene was in a dark room, looks like a kids bad Halloween costume.
@@jaydonjohnston798 Are you nuts?
@@PurpleRain500 it looks like he's got gum on ho s face
I think they just bought the costume off Amazon lol
@@the_demon149 Yeah, not. That was easily his best makeup job.
"Kids."
- Freddy Kruger
Freddy was right though: There really is an Elm Street in every town
John Roberts why are there so many elm streets ?
I live right near a street called elm street
@@thatdudetom6227 I've been wondering that same thing myself for years lol
I've never seen any Elm Street here in Germany.
@@lilylut don't kill the vibe sir.
"Freddy's stupid face lookin stupid"
Idk why but this is funny to me
The thing I hated about this movie was that it never answered what happened to Alice from the two previous films , we had to wait and read the comics nearly a decade later .
You have to be a special kind of loser to use someone else's profile pic
i love finding great channels like this by accident. New subscriber & fan! 👍
SHELLBACKS CLUB ToyTube TVT your gonna have a fun time
It's 2018 and you managed to pull off an Amanda Show reference!! Major kudos, James
The actress playing Amanda was in a bigger nightmare then any of the characters in the whole of this franchise
"I asked you for the map!"
"Yeah, well the map says we're fucked!"
I love this line so much
My mom takes my xbox controller
Me: *You forgot about the power glove!*

@@AGuyYouDontRememberSubbingTo I just saw your comment after a bunch of similar ones nvm.
Uuuuuuuuuuh ok?
Great graphics...
I can’t believe you skipped over one of the best lines in the series “Every town has an Elm Street!”
We have an actual Elm St here in Los Angeles, California 🤣
@@Arz2003 almost like every town has one lol
I'm hoping it's a reference to the classic Twilight Zone line, "There are thousands of Maple Streets," but I don't give the film makers that much credit.
Arz2003 LA is a city
gbird no shit sherlock
So New Nightmare on the 2nd, the remake on the 9th meaning a new franchise on the 16th. The day before St Patricks day! Looks like we've got Leprechaun videos and O'rish accents coming
Villa Donetsk yep
Hey that's coming on my birthday! Nice!
Villa Donetsk March 17th is my birthday!
He said the next one will not be a nightmare movie.
So leprechaun is the next big franchise
Freddy looks like someone's Dad in the thumbnail. Just a nice guy playing with a "PowerGlove" (Freddy voice)
🤣
I love the alternate timeline stuff at 5:39
The 1066 date refers to the Norman conquest of England.
Upon heading to Wikipedia, I found the following Maries who died in 1869:
- Marie Amélie Cogniet, painter and writer
- Adrienne Marie Louise Grandpierre-Deverzy, painter
- Marie-Catherine Huot, "superior of the Congregation of Notre Dame"
- Jean Léonard Marie Poiseuille, the aforementioned physician
I can find no record of any individual of sufficient fame to merit the name drop of "Marie" onto this chalkboard. I'm probably missing something extremely obvious.
"The Crash" is referring to the stock market crash of 1929, herald of the Great Depression.
The timeline also implies that the famous painting "The Scream" is actually Freddy (thus, "Munkh sighting," similar to Munch, the name of the painter)
Nagasaki and Hiroshima were attempts by the US military to kill Freddy, who was most likely inhabiting the anxiety-riddled dreams of the Japanese people as they prepared for what they believed was an imminent Allied invasion.
The idea of Freddy killing Elvis as he's taking a crap is simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking.
oh my god wow that was long good job
Excellent. One of the best comments ever

😖😣🫣
