    For regular customers, who wish to receive recipient via email.
    Is there a way that the customer email can be remembered so the customer doesn't need to put in his or her email everytime? Thanks
    Same question if using square reader, thanks.

      You can use the customer directory to save the customer's email. Also, when you use a payment card for the first time with a Square Seller, you are asked on the point of sale device to enter your email address or phone number to receive digital receipts for future purchases made with this card via email or text message.
      At this point, the email address or phone number is attached to that payment card. If you provided your email address, you will automatically be sent receipts to this address when you make subsequent purchases with that card at Square Sellers without having to enter in your email address each time.

      @@squareau thx, assume the same applies to square reader? The only difference is that I will need to use my mobile to enter the details if I am using the square reader(at the point of sale), while everything can be done on the screen if using the square terminal?

      Even if you're using the app on your mobile device instead of the Square Terminal, the steps will be the same for you within the app.

    The video isn't bad but the most important thing, seeing what is clicked on for different functions, is blocked by the hand. The camera should be on the other side completely so the finger tap is visible. Please. That's the most confusing thing about getting started.

    On Square terminal, how do you create the payment option choice, that is, customer can choose cash or card, where it shows the adjusted rate for card due to surcharge?
    I saw this on s previous tutorial but can’t remember which one…..It basically showed the options to the customer…showing higher price for card, customer selects preferred option.?
    I hope this makes sense.

      You can manage your payment types directly from your device using these steps: squ.re/3EWNHzp. Each time you process a payment with Square, your customer has the option to select their preferred payment type from the checkout screen.     Does it need a sim card

      Square Terminal connects to the internet via wifi and doesn't have sim capabilities.

    I wish square would integrate with Shopify

      Shopify is a company that does their own credit cards facility and that's how they make their money. I dont think you can add another company's card facility.
