- UPDATE: From May 2019, because the Philippines joined the "Hague convention", documents do NOT have to be legalized by the Kuala Lumpur embassy any longer. All you need is Apostile from your ministry of foreign affairs and you can send the document to the other country.

UK Visa for a Filipina spouse of a EU national living in UK

PS: It seems that due to UK exiting the European Union, applications for EEA Family Permit and for EEA Settlement Scheme, will only be accepted till December 2020 (or June 2021, this can still change). I don't know what type of VISA (if any) will exist in the UK after that date, allowing EU nationals in UK to bring over their Filipino spouse.

My husband experienced this b4 we got married the embassy is in Mania I just got a appointment be4 he came and we flew to Manila di nman xia mahirap, pero sa inyo mahirap noh kasi polish xia but thankfully you did it, so next nman your Visa hang on there sis you'll get there!

Mieszkam w UK od 6 lat I planuje slub z Filipinka w przyszlym roku I po slubie sprowadzic juz żone do UK. Sadze ze po czerwcu 2021 dla stalych rezydentow ( settle status powyzej 5 lat w UK) napewno pozostaje furtka aplokowania o vise do UK. Co innego pre settle czyli ponizej 5 lat

Oh yes of course sissy, you have 5 months to prepare anyway and I think that should be enough. The only most important thing that your husband should do is, to legalize his legal capacity and that's it

@@petnessclores7425 hi sissy, we don't exactly remember how much we paid before but it was not much, but travelling to warsaw to legalize the document will cost you a little bit pero kung sa warsaw mismo nakatira si hubby mo then less expense sis
