I am Lorraine. I create content about my life here in Poland. I am a Filipino citizen who got married to a Polish Citizen.
In today's video, we will be discussing all the required documents needed of getting married in Poland as a foreigner, processes, where to go, how long it takes and the cost of marrying a Polish citizen in Poland. This video applies to all Foreigners in Poland as it will be the same process. Either you are marrying a Pole or your fellow nationality, the processes mentioned in the video is the same.
This video is for a court or civil wedding in Poland.

Hello, i did authentication of my documents in Nigerian foreign Ministry, can i do the legalisation in Nigerian embassy in Berlin before i marry in Poland? Or is it a must to legalise in Polish embassy?

Can a friend be the translator or does it have to be some sort of certified interpreter during the wedding ? Also, how long does the ceremony take?
Translator should be certified. The ceremony will only take less than an hour.

Hello ma'am your husband is polish noong kumuha kau ng LCCM SA EMBASY pinaapostele niya ba ng husband mo certificate marital status at birth certificate niya kasi yung fiancee ko hindi namin alam kung saan ipapaapostele yung documents niya dito sa poland salamat po

Yes you can! Just bring all the required documents and go to your embassy as mentioned in the video to get the certificate that you can marry. That's how I got married too. I only had a 3 months tourists visa

@@testolinka my husband (fiance back then) and daughter was there with me when I went to the embassy and pretty much he was talking to them in Polish so they knew. I didn't had an interview for a tourist visa.
@@lorraine2136 I got it, when you have a child with a Polish citizen than it is easier to get visa :)I thought you came to Poland as a turist and than get married :)

Pretty much paper works are the same when it comes to foreigners marrying a polish citizen. Make sure your papers are apostilled and hire a sworn translator once you're in Poland
