Couple things for anyone looking, ODI Lock-Ons throttle side doesn’t require modding the tube itself, they come plenty big. Also, without having to mod much, handlebars with a crossbar is the way to go.

I use the box cutter to cut the plastic throttle tube. Make sure your throttle is not binding or hanging up when your done. Great looking bike.

Bad idea cutting off the number plate strap, its purpose isn't to mount the plate it's to keep the brake cable from getting hung overtop of the number plate when the forks compress. Also with drilling out the throttle tube it might still leave plastic hanging out further than the handlebars, if that's the case the throttle might rub and maybe stick on the bark busters bar. Besides that not a bad job and nice video

Hi, great looking bike. I have the same one arriving in a few weeks. I was curious, are your Acerbis frame guards for a ‘21 or ‘22 FX? I could only find the frame guards for a ‘21 FX. Thanks!
I'm not sure, but nothing changes from 2021 to 2022 on this bike so the 2021 hand guards should fit
Did you have to notch your frame guards where the kickstand is?
I don't think so
On my 2023 wr250 I had to trim the frame guard around the kick stand
@@JA-gb7dw Yep. I had to notch around my 2023 FX. easy peasy. They fit soooooooooooooooooooo good.
