Lol! She said she did it for fashion and I've seen all sorts of models with short cuts..plus like she's a 23-year-old working mom with 3 kids under 3...she ain't got no time to be doing twist-outs and wash and gos every morning. I was watching Jenn J recently and she got her two babies and she said let me damage my hair and throw box braids in it in peace!!!!! Lol! I'm 43 and I remember not knowing how to do my hair at 23 because my mom didn't teach me! Not all of us grew up with Mama Tina K. as a mom.
I'ma give the girl grace..plus growing up in Germany, I know nobody knew how to do her hair! I grew up in Barbados and my friends have mixed-race children and luckily everybody there knows how to style all hair types kinky, coily, straight, curly, mixed, black, white, brown, yellow, gray, pink. Lol! If keeping it straight saves her time ( and sanity), I'm not going to fault her for it.

Why do people think her hairstyle choice is their business? I'm really confused as to the controversy.

If I heard her correctly, I can understand about the eczema on her hands and taking care of her hair. For example, not knowing what products she would use that could irritate her skin condition upon contact.

i have eczema and bad flair ups but hair products never irritated by skin especially since i have a patch on the back of my neck if it irritates she should wear clothes that's no excuse look for stuff no sulfates no fragrance and no oils common research

I think her short hair looks nice but the back looks a bit odd because her neck is so long. I guess growing her hair out a bit longer would balance the back out but imo her hair never really looked bad to begin with.
Also, I can cosign on what she said about eczema because having it in the front and back of my hairline caused my edges/nape to break off and thin really bad too 😢. Thankfully, improving my diet and using natural DIY haircare products cleared up my eczema and allowed my hairline to grow back, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nara did the same thing.

People are so bitter and mean to this girl. It really doesn’t look bad. I wouldn’t get it but she’s pretty enough that it doesn’t look awful. I think her German side is coming out because that’s how some girls in Berlin wear their hair. People always trying to take a melanated sister down. She’s living her best life and unhappy women are bitter as always 🙄

I never thought her hair cut was bad and didn’t even notice the back but I do notice she gets alot of hate but I guess that comes with being social media famous…the only thing Nara did that I didnt personally agree with is suing that smaller content creators after she alleged Nara stole her recipes🤎🤎🤎

That phrase has been a thing long before tiktok. It was for the girlies who did their own hair or braids. Maybe the parting in the back ain't perfect but it's okay cuz "the back of my head is none of my business and no one else's either" 💕

She looks timeless and elegant with this haircut. Her neck is perfect . Looks better than all of these glued down edges and side part wigs or (”buss down" 🤨😩wigs) I lost 5 percent of my brain cells saying that. Thanks for the video sister!

I absolultely hate when people BLAME their hair instead of blaming themselves for not knowing or not wanting to learn how to care for their hair. OR when they blame their hair instead of just admitting that they HATE their texture and prefer straigh hair. Afro HAIR isnt the issue and i hate how it has become such a trend to basically sh*t on afro hair talking about it as if was some kind of unwanted trouble child.

They actually do it all the time…I said if they speak on black hair I have the right to discuss what they got right and what they got wrong just like biracial women can speak discuss what I got wrong and right about their hair as a monoracial black woman🤎

I don't have eczema, but I do suffer from intense dandruff. Her choice of oils are pretty solid. The only things I would add are
    1. Pre-poo with acv for 15min (dilute 1:1 for sensitive scalps and add 5 min)
    2. Add tea tree oil to the scalp oil
    3. Always rinse with cool water

Imo the back of her neck would look better if the ends weren't bumped under but it's not as bad as its being made out to be as it is. I can't imagine being the type of person that tears any woman down about their hair. I'm so over the hate and criticism we get for our hair. I

i have eczema fragrance stuff doesn't bother but one tip is to not use too much shampoo just because its not foaming dosent mean its not working i tend to get a lot of flacks and i can get away with using a lot of oil on the ends not the scalp hair mousses is a nono makes you hair dirty as hell and scalp itchyy the only benefit of eczema is that your scalp doesn't get as dirty but very flaky my last tip is to leave the roots of your hair alone and just focus on the ends and also one is to rub your roots down in a dragging motion like slipping something down it helps you hair get less itchy rather than scratching i realized me itches feel like oiling sensation like maybe its sebum so i always drag and it releases it and make sure nothing is staying in your roots no dandruff.

I don’t want to seem negative but I really do feel that black women just like to put other black women down. Whenever coffee cuties make a video calling us out. Black women are agreeing and having a time in the comments but now since she’s talking about a biracial woman that still has textured hair it’s off limits and coffee cuties is in the wrong? Even some black women in the comments are getting upset with coffee cuties about this one. Hmm this is very interesting.

I don’t feel straightening your hair means you’re trying to be a white girl … cause I know I’ll never have their hair texture …once water touches my hair lol the roots don’t lie … lol

Straightening your hair for versatility is different than the examples I gave as the women I named never wear their hair in its curly state which to me is more leaning towards assimilation 🤎🤎🤎
