Bossman you got a video on replacing the starter on a g35x ? I have to change mine but the only way to do that for me is to basically move the cv axle then pull the starter out
I forgot to mention dont forget to check your brake lines mine are rubbing with the lower control arm and deteriorating, This will be the third set that I will order. My next set will be the short and not the long braided line.
You should’ve showed us how you tightened them cause the only way I could was using a baby ratchet and doing 3-6 clicks at a time😂 not fun doing cv axles on these
Way to much of unnecessary work. I never removed half of this stuff you did. And if you didn't replace the shaft with an original Nissan shaft, but an aftermarket, you will be doing this job again in less than a year. Should have only replaced the boot..
because my car is lowered, I seem to damage these boots more often. I never completely clean them out first, but do put new grease inside the boot. @@dannyhardesty6137

Do I need to regrease it before adding the new boot?

With all do respect, I think this was a much needed video for pulling out the CV Axle, those 6 10mm are almost impossible to remove without a impact.
I wont say that, I replace mine with aftermarket parts and 2 years after no issues so far it depend t what kind of aftermarket part.
