Bro definitely took thee longest route now you need a whole alignment leave everything on remove the axle nut , remove tierod end , remove upper control arm bolt from spindle & strut remove axel 👌
Just did mine thanks for the video bro deadass helped.. BUT you know what killed me the most was budging the damn axle out with a pry bar.. didn’t have the one you had in the video and it would not budge ! Once I copped the one you had from harbor freight for 7 beans .. that shit came out in like 5 seconds so I would definitely say that L shaped pry bar is a MUST
i got a g37 i need lower control outer tie rods and driver axle you think i should go all oem or go aftermarket im in NYC my axle just have a slight rip
Yo I just change the front passenger axle of a q60 red sport but the owner try to do it before and now it has place on the inside and I see that Bering has place too
How the hell did you get the CV axle through the fork at the end of the coil over? Mine will not fit through and if I try to pry it down and farther the shock is going to pop out of the brace
I just put one in, but after putting the hub back on. The wheel/axel doesn’t spin as freely as before. Have to put a lot of pressure to turn the wheel/axle. Doesn’t seem right, the other axle (driver side) still spins freely when i jack it up. What should i do?
@@camfreeman5911 i had no choice but to drive it. Was worried it could damage the transmission. The drive felt weird at first, like there was resistance (car slows a lot quicker when not accelerating). But its been a month or so and haven’t had any problems or noticed any tranny issues (transitioning into sport, eco or snow is fine). Hopefully that was a normal thing.
Bro my g37x makes a screeching noise when I’m accelerating and Turning at the same time. Also When I turn my steering wheel and let off the gas and letting it role my car will coke to a stop and I’ll have to give it a little gas to go and then it’ll make clinking noises like a bind

You would still need an alignment with your steps, all he did extra was take off the bolt for the lower control arm
Bro I needed this vid a month ago... I ended up struggling since it was my first time doing this but now its ezz

What fluid do you use for the differential
Do this have a bearing on the back of the axle seal? Mine has a lot of play
Is this the same removal procedure as the X awd version? Nice video
yes because the rwd doesn't have front cv's haha
@@ericmarciniak1 right 😭😭😭😭😭 my dumbass 😂😂😂 thank you bro

W vid bro
Thanks for the video. I have to do the same on my 11 G37xS.
Did you add more fluid that came out after taking the axle off? If so, how?
Some will be lost. There’s drain and fill plugs on the front diff. Make sure u can remove fill plug before attempting lower drain plug

Did the axle not need a seal or gasket for the differential side for half axle?
No seal was good

Check your axles
Do you need a special tool to put the axle in?
NO
