Yeah it's tricky but if your able to get access underneath the car behind the differential and tie rod. That's probably your best access to get the cv Axle loose. I tried to show it in the video
Bro what are u trying to fix ? I got a bump/clunck in hard rights/lefts , been told its just awd but ive change almost everything no luck , coming down to maby transfer case
A clunking noise that I've been hearing. I've replaced lower control arms endlnks swaybar passenger side cv axle and now going to replace the driver side cv axle and both ball joints
@@GIOVANNITH3G35FAN im telling u , im going crazy too im at 140k and it only gets worse, considering its the trabsfercase which i will break before i replace lol
@@GIOVANNITH3G35FAN well all i can say is take it easy on hard turns (no gas) should make it last longer , ive done everything rubber but uper control arms which are at 60%life atm
Also having the same issue im on coil overs not sure if it just to low but as soon as i got out a parking spot after replacing to a new axle my new axle just popped out in 2 again .
@@Flakko You will need the z1 longer cv axles. The pair is 249. They are made for when you lower the q50-q60 because when you are low it put too much pressure on the axles and they pop out after a short period of time.
I tried to replace mine on my g35x but I keep getting noise from axle! Can you help! When I let off gas I still here popping sound! Could be coming from inner!!
I have the same problem so far I've replaced both CV Axles both lower control arms both endlinks and the sway bar. I'm going to replace ball joints and see if that fixes my issue . Cause my car doesn't have any issues with the transmission. I can switch gears smooth. And my tie rods look good as well.
Bro my g37x makes a screeching noise when I’m accelerating and Turning at the same time. Also When I turn my steering wheel and let off the gas and letting it role my car will coke to a stop and I’ll have to give it a little gas to go and then it’ll make clinking noises like a bind
That's how I felt about doing this myself but I was able to do it and saved me money. Just sucks because you have to remove alot of stuff to get the axle out
Not really If you have the right tools. But it did suck cause there was no videos on how to do it for my G so I learned as I went but was able to record it to help out other G owners
Yessir a little more torture but with lots of knowledge like always thanks Gio for another great vid 👏🏼👏🏼🔥🔥😎😎
Not only that but save money in my pocket
@@GIOVANNITH3G35FAN Saved ALOT of money lol😎
This quick? Jeez. U the man
I make it look easy but I got a lot of battle scars lol
Great bud you can throw a screw driver in the cooling pads of the brake disk so it hits the caliper and the wheel doesn’t turn 🎉
Thanks for the advice 🙏
Having trouble removing mine , hopefully a pry bar will do , I have everything off just the old CV axle is stuck on the diff

Agree
I replaced my g35x 2006 front passenger axel 3 times already and every time I turn leaf it keeps breaking Can anyone help
Did u ever figure it out?
That's crazy. When you say it's breaking is it like completely breaking in half or popping out

@@joeblowig you think the q50 axle would fit the 06 g35x ? Been trying to find a longer one not sure which one would fit on my passenger side
Yo sorry blowing u up , right side axel i havent got to because it came looking different in the balancer
I'm just covering the basics of not that I'm going to replace the up control arms. If that doesn't work idk what else it could be
