honestly this makes so much sense... Pablo is the only Renrut sibling that was a product of a natural pregnancy, but only because Semaj married his mother for money. he was raised by a crystal. he didn't have any human interaction growing up except his older brother and his siblings. his father left him alone at home to work long hours as an actor, even on Winterfest. his only friend (whom he had a crush on) completely forgot about him once they grew up - and if that wasn't enough, then his father caused him and his older brother to be possessed by the Mother. it makes so much sense that he'd grow up to be slightly unhinged, an absentee father, and then pivot into being a doomsday prepper 😭
I feel like it's rather that James really wants to do unhinged builds lately. He pivoted completely with Pablo and Camillo and while I personally was more intrigued by his initial ideas for their respective houses, I can really feel that James just wants Tiny Town to be a collection of randomness and chaos and that's fun in itself (+ more motivation for me to build purple lux and brown cosmolux houses in my own game)
The whole "mother plant" thing made Pablo paranoid in the eyes of the others. Pablo is officially preparing for the possibility of the mother plant spreading its pollen. He's built an underground bunker and he's physically training. He even "borrowed" some plants from the community garden. Also, you should add some solar panels, bunk beds for other tiny towners and even a storage room for food etc.
@@caecus5714 I bet Pablo was definitely freaked out when he saw that bizarre plant Scarlet was growing and decided enough was enough, time to build a bunker.
This vault is so so cool! I love the idea of the next heir of a series being Kyra. Child raised by the crystal and then trapped in a vault 10/10 Sims trauma
@@peartreeLeaving Lol oh dear 😂But I can totally see it. She's raised to be paranoid and afraid of the outside world hiding away in that bunker and then she steps out to be on her own and BAM! Its just as her dad always said it would be, awful and filled with terrible things all the time 😂😂
Growing up in a literal basement should give Kyra the Paranoid trait when she ages up. Then she'll get a happy moodlet whenever she's in the vault...plus it makes sense to be paranoid when your Dad literally digs a hole and closes the family off from the outside world!
I llike to imagine that whenever Pablo leaves Kira home alone, other residents take care of the baby. You know, the whole idea that it takes a whole village to raise a child.
Suggestion for Pablo’s contribution to the community space - Playground equipment of some sort. He’s got Kyra who could use it and it increases motor skill for children so it’s a nice way to tie in his skill. Just a thought! 🥰
Yes! Great idea. Someone needs to think about the future generations! Pablo is just the person to prep for an uncertain future! Maybe eventually the tunnels will connect all of tiny town together. Possibly an underground playground?
as much as I want to see Sonny (and Silas) finally break the curse of almost getting selected but not, I was wanting Pablo to return!! the chaos w/ a baby and a horse seems like is going to be amazing (for us watching, anyway... thanks, James!)
I love that Pablo apparently really wants to be a gardener--he was helping with plants in Scarlet's episode, and now he always wants to care for the plants in this one.
Please please put a window from the living room looking into the horse area, also making the lot from above look really overgrown and forest-y and trashed would be so cool!
james here's a friendly tip: fully ignore newborns unless they cry. i think that might have been one of the reasons you had a hard time filling up the friendship bar back that one time on the other gameplay. you don't have to interact with them the whole time and actually if you try feeding or cleaning babies when they don't need it, they don't like it. so like, when it cries and it stinks: change diaper; when it cries and it doesn't stink, feed. for the rest you can just let it be as newborns don't really have a social meter. just things i figured out to make life easier during an attempt at 100 baby challenge XDD
52:28 actually when you are swimming in large bodies of water there are 2 things why you are more likely to get fried from electricity from lighting. 1) water is a conductor, so even if the lighting didn’t struck you as a person you would still get fried by the current in the water. 2) basically you are the tallest thing in that area and lightings are attracted to tall things (that’s why you should not hide under a tree but just find some place where are things taller than you when you’re in nature while it’s thunder)
I love how Pablo could've been a beige dad, give everything brown and uncolorful for that baby, but instead he decided to give her colorful toys! What a great dad! (except for the crystal part, I don't know the psychological implications of raising your child through a crystal)
Pablo has the vibes of an adrenaline junkie that wants to live a lavish and exciting life. He rides horses, loves fitness, and dives for treasure. He makes impulsive decisions which is why he adopted a child but he doesn't want to give up his thrilling hobbies. He says it's fine if a crystal raises Kyra while he goes thrill-seeking cause he was raised by one too and he turned out fine!
I think your horse is considered a Sim. Animal aging only affects the cottage living animals that are "objects". Make sure you have Sims aging off Also, if you eventually have chickens with Scarlet, make sure animal aging is on if you want chicks to grow up!
There is wallpaper called imaginary sunsets thats look like well, sunset and in child decoration (I think) on wall you can have these fluffy clouds even lights are cloud shaped if I remember well
It would be really awesome, but horses never appear when we are not playing with their households 😅 at least, they never appeared to me when I was playing 🤔 Maybe the way to give that to Scarlet would be by putting it on a room in the community center, lock the door, and then Scarlett could take it... Just a Theory. The other way, might be Pablo gifting it to her, but I don't know if she would like to receive a literally shit gift from Pablo 😅
One more tip, because I have to leave a thousand comments during the video itself... you don't need a toddler bed, you can use the DHD tent and they can sleep in there. They can also sleep in there as a child, so you won't have to replace a toddler bed with a child size.
Definitely my favorite episode of this series so far. All the baby-related dissing was funny af! JT: Pablo, put the baby down! Nobody cares about the baby! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Love the vault build! It's so unique and such a departure from the other TT builds!
Calling Krystoff the mayor gives a beautiful idea! There should be a mayor's office in the town hall/community center. I love me some bureaucracy. You could just host the wellness events on the roof of the building. You should only have to add a small building where the steps come up like a building in New York. They have little closet like space just for where the stairs come up.
Love seeing you having fun and getting inspired by TV shows. Also love hearing the return of 'competish' and the reminder of the Horse Ranch series, such a fun series.
I am SO glad you pivoted to other money-making activities, I loved the Rags to Ranches let's play but the horse gameplay gets kind of repetitive and grind-y... I really enjoy seeing you find different creative ways to make money, and I've been excited to see your bigger build for Pablo! The vault thing is so fun, not at all what I was expecting for cosmolux but I do love the chaos. It'd be great to see you include more literal "cosmo- 👽" and "-lux✨" elements too in Pablo's next part!
Watching James run into all the same bugs with For Rent that I did while playing Tiny Town is honestly so validating. The pack is busted and I gave up on building houses with more than 1 level because of the stupid roof issue (also my ladders got corrupted which almost made me throw the whole save out the window). At one point, I also had to kick everyone out, re-place the lot, move everyone back in and fiddle with the money until it was correct. It was a fun challenge and I want to do it again, but I'm not going to use For Rent for it lol.
You should totally get the unlockable shower from the scientist career for this build. Also, you might want to invest in a tub for the kiddo. Great build. Love it.
Maybe Pablo could start filming and uploading fitness videos. Like those retro records from the 80s where one guy with mustage jumped around in a tiny fitness dress to some retro music. I think that would absolutely fit the vibe and Pablo! You could build a fitness studio for him or maybe take it outside and film with the drone. 😁
when james was like "let's give my housekeys to all residents, it will be so fun to just have them walk into my house on their own!" in that one episode with Vivien I just knew that some very annoyed "what are you doing in my house?" were coming down the line...
It would be super cute to add some of Kyra's little doodles on the walls in the hallway or maybe just the wall decal of her height changes. Thank you for the extra long video! Its wonderful to see a bit more in one sitting.

I love that James calls Chestnut Ridge "Horse Land" 😂❤
[#2] Make Scarlet live in the greenhouse also, with an outdoor bathroom (like Shrek's toilet) and a lake, maybe? It would be cool if she could become a plant sim in the middle of the challenge, but I understand if you don't want to do that
I was thinking one of those really big fancy greenhouses, I think there was one in the realm of magic world and one in the growing together world both not being accessible. especially since everyone with a house so far has a massive home.
The word you were looking for when the horse is dancing is called piaffe, and the move is used when training or competing in dressage. It's actually really cool to see irl! 😁
When you come back to Pablo you will be shocked by the amount of rent he has to pay 😂 I'd probably set everything besides the actual apartment as shared space 😅
This is hands down my favorite series you’ve ever played- I check daily for a new Tiny Town episode!! And any time it’s over an hour… I am SEATED and excited 😅
I did not expect this to be the outcome for this house but I am not disappointed! I never am with James 😂 This was an iconic episode. Pablo has so much depth, lore and personality that I truly enjoy him. Dare I say he’s my favorite!
Looks like it is time for Paulo to get one of those nano trash cans. Having the extra money from the diapers and bottles it would also come in handy now that he has that underground bunker. I also want to mention that now that Krya is a toddler she is going to need a tub. And what about putting the horse grass down there that way the horse would be getting fed, and then you can also sell the manure for money as well. And how about this for immersion, put in a pool and make it look like a pond, you can also make it fishable by putting a fishing post by it. That way he can catch his own fish and sell it. Not only that but what about a diving bouy too? He can get the stuff to sell on the table that way. Put a few planters down there to grow his food, with a couple of planters for trees where the 2-story room that is the horse exercise room. One last tip, you might need to put in a few skylights to bring in natural light. It looks like he is ready for the end of the world.(I really hope not, but you never know). Are you going to give Pablo a new bed? He deserves one. I don't know what the horse is going to think about it, but if I was Krya I would love it.
We demand more brown and cosmolux in the brown cosmolux apartment! The concept is fun but it'd be cool if Pablo could keep the midcentury modern furniture whilst inside the bunker.
I love that James has taken this as a challenge to build the most unhinged things. Also, basements + residential rentals = major lag so that will be fun.
Maybe a fence between the ''meadow'' and the ''garden''? To make it feel even more outside. And add a huge pantry for like canned food and stuff (Pablo is clearly a prepper)
Pablo is allowed the Crystal Power because there is a baby in the house. All of Tiny Town's residents only know how to take care of their children that way. Ooh... Pablo being sneaky. "Oh, yes... my house is this tiny... Oh, you want to come inside? I'm sorry... I like my privacy."
I'm not sure how the layout would work since youre on the edge of the lot, but i feel like in the final part of Pablo's tiny town arc, you should age kyra into a teen and let her spin the wheels. Then she could move out into her own little mini apartment in the vault that reflects her own interests and aesthetics
I’d love to see the vault’s backyard semi-connected to the horse paddock! Replace the full wall with an idyllic little fence with a gate, it would add to the idea of it all being the same property. I love how you used the artwork as murals on the walls! And the little barn is adorable but I especially liked the industrial ceiling for it. Have you considered using those cloud lights in the paddock but sized up? Those could be fun, but I’m not sure if they’d even be visible. The space turned out great though!! 😁 Thanks for spoiling us with so much content this week!! 🤎💛🤎
I've always wanted to build a Fallout vault in Sims 4 but it never made sense story-wise. This makes me want to find a reason to do it - great job, James, so cool!
Yes to the wall decals!!! The only thing I wasn't really into with this build is having the concrete walls in the "outside" area of the vault - it would be cool with blue walls and decals to make it all look like "nature".
When I saw the Set As Head option (at 32:46) it made me wonder if a charged crystal would still work like that. If it does that’d be one way to get around not owning the item! 😆 It’s funny when you think about what Kyra’s life has been like. Adopted into a household where a horse can enter the house. Your adoptive father dips in and out of the house all the time. Then eventually you get to an age where you can go outside and explore Tiny Town only to then be moved down into a fallout bunker 😂.
I love these really long videos! and it's also really funny how James keeps on justifying how the diving is "allowed" when it's actually more in theme than horse riding was 😂
Loving this tiny town content! The vault idea was epic. It looks so good. I reckon for the "top side" on Pablo's plot you should make it look like the Fallout world too. Post apocalyptic sort of thing.
Poor Pablo... just wants to be a better father to his baby now that he's no longer a possessed sim, but James keep traveling with him to another city, just to earn money with him and his horse... James is so materialistic, he doesn't care about Pablo's family, neither about Pablo himself! Fight him, Pablo! You already fought the Mother, you can beat James!!
Considering how Laird got totally cheated by the For Rent bugs and with the news of the polyamory update, maybe we can give Laird another chance in the next LP? She deserves to live her best polyamorous life!!
Winter is over (for now) but if Pablo is going to be out in more storms, the Storm Chaser reward trait is helpful to keep them from panicking about the storm.
Love a movie length LP... Absolutely vibing with the "Fall Out " references. I play the game but haven't watched the series. You blow me away with your builds.
Since you are doing a cosmolux home, I remembered a Vox video I watched about Lustron homes, which were "The Homes of the Future" in the 40s and were factory assembled. The fun thing about those houses is that they're completely made out of metal. Making that in sims however, proved to be a little difficult.
Yes, was going to say that too, first thing that came to my mind (though I'm not a horse person either and not even a native speaker of English). But I thought it was too simple for James not to think of it, so I even double-checked.
I gotta say, I was expecting more like a mid century american cliche house for the cosmo lux theme but the vault is pretty fun ! Maybe a decoy house or a over grown garden above could be nice?
All the stuff from the gardener is put in your household inventory. Probably when you set it to residential to fix it, it glitched to give you more. 🤷🏻♀️
maybe fake doors on the other side? additionally you could make a room on the other side as a gym? and roll for kyras interest and color? also you can't have a vault backyard without an umbrella table, grill, lemonade and the classic lawn flamingo!

I was looking forward to extreme 70's groovy vibes.
yessss. i was thinking the same
This was not the week to be behind on watching James' videos! 😂Guess I have a 4 hour Tiny Town binge session to look forward to!
The movie blast from the past with Brendan Fraser and Alicia Silverstone has the exact type of thing. I love their fake backyard!
"No one cares about the kid, the kid's fine, the kid's eating crystal" 🤣Crystal is the 21st Century version of Flintstone vitamins! 🤣🤣🤣
Butlers can be live in nannies and count as a free service. They also do everything. They can sleep in the community center if you put a bed in there.
We could give them a little apartment in the vualt and pretend they are a robot?
2:25 puts baby in the corner
Me: NOBODY PUTS BABY IN THE CORNER
/ref
I'm not sure how the layout would work since youre on the edge of the lot, but i feel like in the final part of Pablo's tiny town arc, you should age kyra into a teen and let her spin the wheels. Then she could move out into her own little mini apartment in the vault that reflects her own interests and aesthetics
Ooo I love the idea of her moving into her own vault apartment next door!
Baby crying the minute you lay down? Absolutely true to life playing here!
For the behind the windows the backdrops from get famous that move would be so good for it! Then you can change what they see and it’s animated
“Put the kid down. The kids fine. The kids eating crystal. Sit. 😒”
This one was top tier comedy
I’d love to see the vault’s backyard semi-connected to the horse paddock! Replace the full wall with an idyllic little fence with a gate, it would add to the idea of it all being the same property. I love how you used the artwork as murals on the walls! And the little barn is adorable but I especially liked the industrial ceiling for it. Have you considered using those cloud lights in the paddock but sized up? Those could be fun, but I’m not sure if they’d even be visible. The space turned out great though!! 😁 Thanks for spoiling us with so much content this week!! 🤎💛🤎
Can we put some of the cloud lights in the “pasture” (more air quotes!!) area? It could add extra dimension to the ceiling.
Back to back episodes? James you spoil us!
I've always wanted to build a Fallout vault in Sims 4 but it never made sense story-wise. This makes me want to find a reason to do it - great job, James, so cool!
My favorite Tiny Towner! Dude, the vault build is so cool! I love this dystopian retro style.
Can we talk about how jacked Pablo got from diving 😂 giving Ned Flanders vibes 😆🥸💪🏼
we are being spoiled with the tiny town series !! literally obsessed with this series 🩷
The vault looks amazing! I think wall decals are your friend here, adding "trees" and "nature".
It’s funny when you think about what Kyra’s life has been like.
LMAO the light ing strike got me!!! I laughed so hard!!! Your face was priceless too!!
Pablo may not be the most attentive father, but he is absolutely pushing himself to his physical limits to provide for his kid and horse
"Dad working hard to take care of you, what's your name..." 😂😂😂😂 a few secondes later "Who cares about the kid, the kid's eating chrysral" 😂😂😂😂
"arl put my diaper in Vivien's bin not my problem" then laugh lol love it
The horse “dancing” is called prancing. 😂
Maybe a decoy house or a over grown garden above could be nice?
this is the definition of us getting spoiled! 2 episodes of tiny town in two days each an hour+ long? heck yeah thanks James
Sounds like you can sell your horse medals on the selling table too!
A long episode and three days in a row. Yesssss.
James: *baby is furious* THIS ISN'T A BABY LET'S PLAY! IT'S A MONEY LET'S PLAY! *horse is slightly sad* i must take care of the horse immediately
