I really enjoy these build videos where you take us through your thought process throughout the entire build. Speed builds are great, but these are my favorite. I like seeing the wacky ways you use random objects to make unique builds.

RIP. And technically there was a completely empty island closer to the volcano that he could've used. I mean I'm not mad but other than aiming for consistency in the neighborhood it didn't have to go. I can only guess he wanted to reserve the other empty lot in case he wanted to build a nice big house in the future, which is fair.
The Romance Rig is such a great build! I love the entrance bridge, the bar area is gorgeous, the spot lights really make everything feel so intimate. I think the only thing ya missed was the new game from love struck 😉 woulda been great in the area you were struggling to fill in the end. ❤ LOVE IT!
Deleting the floor and adding a fence was so much better than the glass floor item. I'll have to remember that!
I love how u took little spaces and detailed them so much like the stage, or the bar outside, it turned out great 💜
Maybe u can make a bowling alley and spin the location wheel for the next one, bc thats the funniest one and the hardest to fit xd
I second this because we need more cool looking bowling alley lots! Apparently it requires a Bar lot type to get Sims to use it (based on the lot the devs built for the pack being a Bar and not a new type) so I'd say choose that and then pick a world. They've added bars into most of them but he could replace the one that came with the world which would be nice for the sake of variety. If all else fails, it'd be great for replacing that giant clothing store in Magnolia Promenade. Cool in theory but kind of pointless in practice (I mean if I had High School Years I'd be going there rather than the pre-existing retail clothing stores from Get to Work.)
@@DoveJS totally!! I always forget about them completely, I just take my teens to thrift tea, but a bowling alley would be great for them!
@@ivonne_lau Exactly! I'd love to download this lot and a bowling alley either way. Whenever I get High School years I'm definitely taking all of my Sims to Thrift Tea if I don't get another build off the gallery lol. I also forget the clothing stores exist until I decide to build something there and then half the time I replace them, for example a small vet clinic with an apartment on top. Which reminds me, I meant to build an even smaller one as a starter vet clinic or else a yoga studio since finding in-door space can be a little bit of a pain otherwise.

This venue is so pretty, you always do the coolest builds James. I really love the entrance and front patio bar moment you created as the jumping off point for this build and your performance stage is perfect for the vibes. 🌴🥥🎶

To be fair he is in the middle of alot of irl stuff like full kitchen renovation and temporary moving and having a barely year old puppy

great build! you could use those floor glass things in that entrance area so you walk in and can look down at the fish, and then see them swimming around the trees in the open area!
I am so happily looking forward to Romance to Riches, starring Sandalwood. I know it's a lot to ask, but I'd love it if you kept his grey-hair-and-brave-eye-make-up look. I'm so used to it by now that I've grown to love it. He somehow wouldn't be Sandalwood without it. Also this build is fab and Imma use it in my save.
I like it as a dramatic party outfit, but it’s too much for me all the time. Maybe it’s the combo of the hair cut with the grey hair and the eye make up and the track suit, but it ages him a lot. If he changed the hair style and the outfit, the hair color and make up might be ok. Or vice versa.

been playing DDLV since release and it's one of my comfort games! after taking a small break, i finished welcoming Tiana after i was done with the DLC.
also i need to build in Sulani more, the lots can be so much better there.

37:54 -- the reason the roof is clipping into the room is because you have a closed "room" using a fence. Sims 4 being the Sims 4, it hates it when an outdoor structure (fence) is used indoors like that

just a guess but with the ghost historian i think you may find out more about Bella's disappearance in Sims 2.. the child ghost looks like young Bella, and the latest nursery kit is full of Bella hints... maybe the "mother" is Bella from Sims 2.. if you befriend her (like the motherplant in strangerville} She may tell you what happened in Sims 2.;rebirth her so she can live a better life? even the wall paper in the new nursery pack has a hot air balloon and a ufo. the new kids playhouse is the goth mansion, The wallpaper is pleasant view from Sims 2. and there is a book with Bella's face on it and if you look close there is a tiny Bella in the hot air balloon in the new "NURSERY KIT. maybe if you can bring Bella back she would totally have that Nursery when she was/is a Baby/infant/toddler. She is in olive Spector's graveyard in Sims 2 and if you play in Sims 3 the next time you see Bella( after her "disappearance" in Sims 2 she is a child!!! hmmmm something to Think About is it not?

Has anyone the same bug?: since recently my sims can't request a table in whatever restaurant. I never used to have big issues but since a few days now, my sim will request a table and the staff will check it on their tablet but then it stops. They don't appoint me my place. I don't use ANY mods or cc...

I wish sims weren’t programmed to hate the bubble blower right off the bat. It’s annoying. I’ve had to put a mod in a my game to stop it.
I didn't know they disliked it, I've never used the item
@@seadragonpirate8195 yeah few will be intrigued by it, and most will react in disgust. I’ve never had any npc sims autonomously use it, either. But they will autonomously stop what they’re doing just to walk over and react. If you have the sim you’re playing try it a couple times they will eventually enjoy it and can use it to “wind down”. Different bubbles can give them different moodlets. It’s a cool item, but not very useful for community lots unless your sims specifically go to use it.
