I love working on my own vehicles even at 78 years old I still mechanic on all of my own cars . whenever I refit components I use copper grease on the threads unless it needs loctite Blue . Ok small bolts can shear off but where was the penetrating fluid .
I have the same aduster on the rear brake shoes on my 2021 Fiat Panda Hybrid . I assumed the shoe clearance was self adjusting . You seem to be doing a suck it and see adjustment .

Oh yes! I have done many drum brakes over the years, but those on my Fiat Panda 2011 (Same as these) are a b***h to adjust! 😞
