      Hello,
The potential side effects of EDTA are kidney damage, arrhythmia, cardiac or respiratory arrest or generalized detoxification symptoms such as; headache, lethargy and muscle fatigue are common side effects with initiation of chelation therapy. These symptoms will subside in the first couple weeks. Individuals undergoing any form of chelation therapy should be closely monitored by their health care provider. Therefore, dosage of Edta must be advised under supervision of a health care practitioner in both oral and IV forms. We would rec ommend speaking to your or a natural health care practitioner.
