The most common side effect is a burning sensation at the site of the injection. In addition, some people may have an allergic reaction to EDTA. Other serious side effects that have been reported include low blood sugar, diminished calcium levels, headache, nausea, dangerously low blood pressure, kidney failure, organ damage, irregular heartbeat, seizures, or even death.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there have been deaths associated with hypocalcemia (low levels of calcium) from intravenous chelation therapy.

Bullsh*t. I take 4 OO caps of EDTA before breakfast and dinner - I never have lunch. I haven't spoken to a worthless idiot doctor in 5 years. At that time my blood iron reading was 1265 and climbing steadily. A few days ago it was measured at 250. I have done no bleeding whatsoever in that time and have no access to a sauna (where you will sweat out in 1 hour what it takes EDTA 24 hours to do).
Most doctors will tell you it's venasections or nothing. My advice to you is rise to your feet, turn around and get the Hell out of there because that quack is going to torture you for no good reason.
But you're right about supplements. EDTA strips ALL metals from your body and some are vital to your continued life, like magnesium for eg. You need to go off it for a couple of days a fortnight while you top up trace metals you need. Bananas are good.
You should also eliminate food high in iron. It's slowly killing you.
You will not make 70 under any circumstances whatsoever. You have a 10% chance of making 60 (I got there in May and I very much doubt I'll see 61). At age 62 you and 1% are left. I have found no references that go to 63.
My heart goes out to anyone out there that just found out they have HH. Your doctor will tell you nothing because he knows nothing, and you'll come here and find out you are actually a walking dead man/woman.
Keep your chins up and good luck.

      @joechlystun7979 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

their are two types of EDTA... i believe the calcium disodium wont bind to calcium so it doesnt deplete you body of calcium. however, some people with heart disease take the other type of edta for the purpose of removing calcium from the bloodstream as arterial blockages are for the most part made up of calcium! doctors give you an IV of EDTA for this purpose but it should work albeit slower if orally ingested. just depends on how much is absorbed by the body. Make sure take it on an empty stomach because it will help to remove more of the metal in your body and not just the minerals from the partially undigested food in your stomach.

  • @Rene-uz3eb

I would like to add an observation just in case it helps someone. I just realized edta works as a kind of pain medication for me. It reduces inflammation (by scavenging freed iron I suppose. Iron is freed at sites of inflammation), and let’s me sleep. On some days a dose only gets me through only 3 hours (very refreshing) sleep, but taking another one pushes me through, so far I’ve done 3 doses in one night no problem. It absorbs very little so shouldn’t be a problem. I even dreamt it is related to pain. Maybe I’m becoming dependent on it or something? Doubt that’s possible.
Sure enough, the only time I got painful, Covid, was when I forgot to take it with me on vacation. Otoh I have been putting in breaks of a week without a problem.
    Somewhat supportive evidence:
The role of iron in the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and possible treatment with lactoferrin and other iron chelators, 2021
Anti-Inflammatory Effects of the Iron Chelator, DIBI, in Experimental Acute Lung Injury, 2022
A study on the analgesic effects of four new derivatives of 3-hydroxy pyridine-4-one [iron chelators], 2011
“The distribution of lumbar disc degeneration in thalassemic [disease causing iron overload] patients with back pain is more extensive, severe and multi-level in nature compared to matched controls”
Degenerative disc disease as a cause of back pain in the thalassaemic population: a case-control study using MRI and plain radiographs, 2005
The only edta on the market right now that is from a decent brand is Arizona edta and they are trying to get rid of even that one (doesn’t show up in shopping searches) and prices keep climbing.

Think it's magnesium that moves iron from the tissues to the blood.
Pharma will sort you, in exchange for a selection of possible side effects.
Might be better for you to look at the side effects of EDTA and favour green leaves, or God or Nature given supplements.

I took a little break for a couple of weeks because I figured it also chelates other trace metals (which I do supplement) so give my body a bit of time to rebalance and see. What I figured out is that EDTA when taken at night was the one thing in my regimen that makes me feel rejuvenated in the morning after enough sleep, like when I was really young.

I don't believe that, haven't seen a study saying anything like it. Edta is sold only as calcium salt, so it will not deplete calcium obviously. There are also plenty of other drugs that happen to be iron chelators, all prescription though. Calcium edta has been used for 50 years for heart disease until I think the 80s, not sure how you can be allergic to an acid.
I keep taking it daily before bedtime, the break didn't really make a difference.
Also my regimen is 3 times a day a spoon of calcium phosphate+phosphate (amount of phosphate roughly guided by getting good potty results), for over a month now. I throttled my vitamin D from 50k daily for a month, to now just 5k daily maintenance. I gauged the switch by my teeth becoming sensitive.
I just started an experiment of taking a large pinch of vitamin C (sodium ascorbate) every hour or two, so brain and eyes get more, which have active transporters just for concentrating vit c. I am surprised to report that it seems to make a big impact on my mood, having also just read that vit c level goes hand in hand with depression. The hourly intake because if I take a large spoon full I got diarrhea after a few days of that. Absorption is very constrained, and the slow release pills don't work for me (giving me acid reflux). As I said, the frequent small intake seems to work really well.
