Woodturning - Simple Beginners Project That Sells - Pecan Plant Pot
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 10 มิ.ย. 2023
- In this week’s woodturning video, Harry and I need to replenish an inventory item because we’ve nearly sold out! These spindle turned pedestal bowls are about as easy of a project as you can get for a beginner. You could also turn regular small bowls or any shape to hold these fancy looking little air plants.
These little pieces are great for gifts and people love the look of them for their home and sell pretty well at craft shows.
As far as turning goes here are the steps!
1. Make it round
2. Hollow out the bowl section
3. Refine the outside shape.
4. You’re done!
The plants are pretty easy to take care of and are perfect for a covered patio. Just spray every so often with a bit of water and that’s it!
Thanks for watching!

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Harry was on his relatively good behavior in this one.
You make a beautiful pot
Thanks for sharing 🙏
Nice, Robert. Put some shavings in there and Harry could use it as a cereal bowl.

Great design. I made 35 wooden flower pots and have 7 left!
Beautiful. I love working with pecan.
It's a very cool design! I also made a flowerpot a while ago and it was so much fun. I think it would be fun to make a design like this!👍👍
Looks great, and fairly simple. Thank you.
Looks great
Looks great, Robert!
I like it alot.💋💋
Very nice. Great job Harry. I need to get one of your stickers for my board.
Beautiful Robert.
Nice job
...very cool!...I don't know about you, but I can walk out and pick these plants off my trees...they're everywhere...😉
Have you made any succulent pots???
Matt
Very nice!
How do use the coffee grounds. Used or new with CA.
I use coffee grounds that I've already used. Once I'm done with coffee I'll just spread out the grounds on some newspaper out in the sun till they dry out. I've heard you can use new coffee as well if you don't want to bother with the hassle.
