Ima be honest Seeing childhood youtubers is one thing But the intro for the podcast just makes this series and channel much better Keep this up guys! P.S: I would like you guys to cover the gears of war series if you can!
Aah, this was such a lovely episode!! Made me smile quite a lot with all your stories and memories of things Joe and Stacy did I remember watching in the past. I actually remember a couple months ago going onto Stacy's Twitch I think and finding stream VODS of the start of Yoshi's Island, so those was fun to watch through a bit of! I think I would agree with your praises and criticisms of the game, but I think ultimately it's my favorite 2D Mario game - it just has so much charm to it. Loved the trivia factoid about Nogami, the artist I think Oli was mentioning - he produces my favorite series Animal Crossing now too!
Spiffing episode guys! Great to hear from Stacy again. You guys probably don’t need game suggestions right now, but if you guys haven’t yet you should totally play Edith Finch. It’s one of my favorite games, and I think you’d enjoy the mature story mixed with inventive gameplay and creative visuals. Firewatch is another game that I enjoyed for its story, although I personally think it leaned into realism a bit too much. Thanks for the episode! Stay safe
I think the most outstanding part of this game for me is the game's size juxtaposed with its contents. I mean, this game has hours worth of gameplay (albeit repetitive at times) and is about the same size as a lengthy MS Word essay. I find that kind of resourcefulness to be highly admirable.
Fun fact: I waited 2 months to watch this video because I wanted to finish Yoshi's Island first. Other fun fact: I still haven't finished the game. (side note: I did play on and off whilst doing classes) As for the game's ranking, I think its fair, at best, that it got to be on par with Undertale.
Yoshi’s Island probably had the best bossfight if I’m thinking of the right one. It’s a lot of fun using the transformations and the fact they can turn into a helicopter for some reason
Was very excited for this when i saw it was on the schedule. It was nice to see a familiar face in stacyplays. Was hilarious when you were ready to put it on the list and Stacy panicked that you were putting at 24. Don’t worry nothing can be worse than Ty😂
4:25 Actually Doom was the oldest game you've done. Sorry for correcting, but if I didn't I know a bunch of other people would so at least I have some sort of an excuse!
Speaking of Splatoon, I really think that playing a Splatoon game would be a really good choice for Bonus Points. I'm not sure which one would be best though, because Splatoon 1 is the first one and introduced the game, Splatoon 2 has the really great DLC campaign, and Splatoon 3 is the most recent (so there's still events going on) and best (imo), but it has the downside of not being updated yet. Up to you guys really. (also if stacy sees this from what i've heard it definitely seems up your alley 👀)
00:39 Joe and Stacy are also Voice actors for Minecraft Story Mode season 1 and 2
Thank you for covering this game. Such nostalgic charm, watching the three of you dicussing classics like this.

Great episode as always! I've been following since ep 3 and I've really enjoyed it.
