This is a tutorial video to unlock bootloader on lg v50 devices. this method works on my device without any issue. which is Korean u+ model with android 12 update.

Hey, I have an LG G8 Which originally came with A9 AT&T ; WHILE CROSSFLASHING I FORGOT TO BACK UP the modem_b.bin, abl_b.bin & boot_b.bin, now my device does neither show the boot screen nor download; the only thing it can do is take it to EDL again. please help 😢
hay alguna otra forma de acceder al modo recovery? trato de hacerlo estando apagado el celular, primero presiono y luego conecto y lo que hace es simplemente prenderse, ahora intento primero conecto y enseguida presiono y no logro, simplemente se prende. Intenté mandarle la orden por adb pero no logro nada.

Help please, my issue is i cannot open twrp recovery. After open recovery it goes to "V50" sign and i already in cusrom spark os and idk how to update rom and install magisk module without twrp, any solution?
Do you have magisk manager installed on your device (with root)? If so you can flash the twrp custom recovery again. After every time you install a rom from twrp you need to flash the TWRP zip as well. Otherwise the TWRP will be erased from first boot.
@@Btech94 i already do it in magisk bro, but no effect, and after that my magisk is detected low version and i cant install using magisk now, i dont know how to update it 😭 any solutions?
@@harvenson8808 seems like you have lost root.(if you haven't rooted after installing the custom rom). If you want to root again i think you will have to go through qfil and copy the boot image and patch it via magisk manager and again you will have to replace the boot image to patched one via qfil. You can use my second tutorial if need guidance.
cant get in fastboote mode. when i turn it off and press up button and connect to pc i see only firmware upgrade. how can i solve it?
Have you replace the custom abl file? After that you have to hold volume down button and connect to pc in order to ho to the bootloader. Volume up is for download mode

Did you change the abl_a to stock one ? If it's so the phone won't boot up to recovery menu. Or you can use lg g7s force reset method to access TWRP (you need to install it first).

Can i use these steps to unlock my lg k92 5g
If your device have a recovery mode just do put into recovery mode and enter the code to unlock bootloader via pc. No need to put on the new abl files. But if your device doesn't have a recovery mode, you will have to find a abl file with recovery mode. I dont think this abl file for lg v50 and g8x will work. But you can try.

You can choose any of the options available (I chose Android Spooning) and your PC will still be able to detect your phone. It doesn't necessarily have to be Android bootloader.

Why do you type fastboot oem device id? You want to unlock the bootloader right? And seems like you have successfully replaced the abl_a file as well. Just type fastboot oem unlock to unlock the bootloader.

i think no custom roms ever have the original camera from the phone cause if they do the company that made the phone copyright strikes the custom roms

Yeah I think so. First just try fastboot mode works without any modifications (assuming it's unlocked version). These Korean version are career locked and doesn't have fastboot. If your one also doesn't have fastboot mode you can follow this.
P.S - the USA Verizon version have some issues with this method

Do you have installed all the lg drivers, abd drivers and fastboot drivers?

@@Yur11B enable usb debugging on developer options and connect the phone via usb to pc and open up a command window on adb folder and type adb devices and hit enter. If it pc detects the device it will show up with a seriel number. You can enter the command adb reboot to check it as well. If phone doesn't reboot it means the pc is not detecting the device. Either adb drivers are not install properly or usb cable is not supporting. Also you can check on the device manager to see the connection. If its showing on other devices you can manually update the drivers to adb interface drivers.
@@Btech94 I'll try but I have a verizon phone, maybe this is the problem ... in the developer settings there is no item: allow OEM unlocking, maybe this is the reason ...

@@Yur11B yeah that might be the case. I tested this on Korean u+ varient. Also I've unlocked bootloader of lg g7 kt varient both gave me no problem. But some oem partners like docoma and at&t hardlock these. They hare hard to crack 😐.

Imei and s/n are in the ftm and modem partitions so you should have backed them up before doing this process

after replacing abl files my device boots up to a "stolen device" orange screen, i cant continue rooting the device because i cant install magisk...
Nevermind, reflasing the old abl files removes the orange stolen davice scrren

If you can find the abl file and firehouse file for lg v60 you ccan unlock the bootloader just like this. After unlocking the bootloader you will have to find the suitable TWRP for v60 as well.

Hey bro after following your instructions my sounds and mobile data are not working. I have LG v50s thinq.
Seems like DRM issue kicked in. For some models this happens on stock ROM after unlocking the bootloader. To fix this either you will have to lock the bootloader or you can use a custom rom
i don't have a bootloader interface, i think it because of the driver. i download the universal one
you may have figured this out by now, but you can select the other options available (it doesn't have to be the bootloader), and your PC will still detect your phone afterwards
