Love how you praise your queen, and thank God for her. Not everyone gets a mate to share their passion. Love your work style, I've three hotrods to paint, without a garage. Thanks
I had painted a few cars about 25 years ago with good results. Recently I painted my 240z and felt lost. Paint turned out terrible. You have shown me where I made my mistakes and how to get better results. Refreshed my memory and got me excited to try again.😊
Best explanation of education I've heard so far. "Move forward not backwards" I left it up to both my daughters to pursue college or move on to work right out of high school. One did college and she regrets the debt she has now while the other works and travels. Awesome job on the cars and good tips on the work put into it all. Keep up the great content Chad and Jolene 👍
because most people choose to go before even knowing what they want to do, end up growing up and deciding they want to do something else. If one wanted to become a doctor of some kind, they'd inevitably need to go to college, hopefully when they made up their mind of course. People often quit half way through. When I went to automotive school, guys quit after as little as 1 week, end up having less than half a class. When someone has the belief that all you need is to attend a class to get somewhere, without the work and passion, that's when they fail.
Jolene and Chad, I admire your hard work and admire both of you. You two are one great team. Jolene and your awesome filming. And chad for your fabrication skills.
I’ve not yet painted a full car but will do soon ,so these videos educate me in just go for it with all your actions chad !! Thanks for sharing and excellent filming Jolene
Chad and Jolene, I'm not one to comment on videos but you two are one of the few people on TH-cam that I would enjoy just sitting and drinking a beer with and learn from. I really enjoy the work you both do.
Hats off to you guys ....Chad is a example to be respected. Hard work, great morals and values. Chad Graduated #1 at the University Of HARD KNOCKS. Like an old woman watching Days of our lives I never miss a video. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, I'm sure it will turn out great. You know often times people say what a good job Jolene does filming, but I am so amazed at what an incredible job she did today, showing the actual paint detail with the close ups of the surface. Thanks to both of you for the best videos on you tube!! I know it takes hours of sanding, so feel free to do a lot of it off camera....lol.
Said before but will say it again you’re honesty in videos is why I watch, the good the bad and the ugly, the way I see it that takes confidence , ability and guts not to edit Thanks for sharing your journey
Thanks for commenting about a good comment. I sure most are good nature folks. But thank you, I need to fix my truck fender and with your videos I just may save me a lot of money, take care and as for the Jag I love it. So far.
Great to hear the prom went good! Excellent advice on Moving forwards not backwards. I first went to a 2 yr technical school and then decided to go to college. I was able to crank through a 4 yr degree in 3 years and paid for it all doing....auto body work out of a shop I put together on the family farm.
Chad, you absolutely right when you say the type of comments you post says a lot about you. And I would like to say it says a lot about you that you are doing this job for Jolene's stepdad. She got herself a damn good man! I love this channel! Please keep up the great work you two are doing
Well, your jokes are nice to hear, especially the Werther’s, my favorite as well, the soft chew caramels 😉😂 Nice of you taking the time to show and share the must have skillsets in car restorations and fab work. You seem so much more at ease in comparison to when you had the TV series going, with the producers and the natural peer pressures of production, in a tight time frame. Keep doing what you love and keep good care of Miss Jolene!
A couple of years back, when a friend of mine came cross country for a visit, he said he had a TH-cam content provider that he wanted me to see. I told him, I had one for him as well. About three sentences into describing why he liked the channel and thought I'd like it too, since we were both into wrenching and painting cars and motorpickles, it was obvious he was describing the same person that I was going to share with him. Just wanted you to know your vids have helped both of us hugely. Thanks for sharing the important stuff, those tricks and processes that produce professional results in an accessible and entertaining way. Something as simple as demonstrating how much time it takes to sand out a guide coat, even with an electric tool, is very helpful. Thanks again!
Man I’ve learned so much from you. I’ve heard you talk about the instructor that showed you and I wanna let you know you’ve inspired me. Saved me a lot of headaches
I really enjoyed the video yesterday of the 39 Studebaker. I wish you would bring out more of the cars you have in storage and show us how you get them running and drive again. These are all beautiful creations and would be nice to share them with your fans. Once the batteries are charged they could be put back in storage with battery tenders and the next time you wanted to run them they would start right up. You can get the chargers very cheap for all your cars in storage at EBAY or AMAZON. Thanks for listening. Bill
Great to hear the prom worked out and the car ran well ... Thanks for taking the time to explain in simple terms, It makes it easy to grasp and keep interested ... the finished paint job will be remarkable how to go Queen Wurthers
I really like this style of video. A lot of the time when trades channels edit their content, they cut things out that to them are common sense, but invaluable to someone who knows little or really wants to learn. I find that when I get to watch the whole process I soak up more information. Now lets hope MY Fiero winds up looking half as good as this one.
Chad Your videos are very informative, I’ve seen a few and by far you have the best explanation of the process for whatever the video subject is at the time. Thank you very much
keep the videos coming. Great to see as always and enjoy that weather we all no it will not last too long. Summer is here . All the very best to you guys
I’ve never done body work or painting on vehicles but you sir really explain things very well. Using guide coat really shows what needs to be done to smooth the surface before paint!
I have only been watching your channel for a short time but have learnt a lot and enjoy watching as the way you teach for me is great. There will always be haters unfortunately. I am in the process of chopping a land rover discovery from a wagon to a ute, and wish I had found your channel before. But will use some of the things you do as I go forward. Love your work and love the fact that you include Jolene in the process. Keep up the great work.
Ty for the vid. I’m trying to learn how to paint. It’s been extremely helpful step by step as well as sharing ur experience in this profession. As long as u keep on making the vids I’m here to watch them all ❤
Thank you for taking time to share your knowledge. I am prepping my 52 Ford for painting and I will use your advice to get a better looking job. Thank you Chad
Amazing tutorial on how to prep sand and paint a car. All in real time. I have become addicted to this Fiero paint series. Well done Chad and Jolene. I am also building my own old hot rod. Would love to visit your shop one day, I live in Dartmouth NS.
Love how you praise your queen, and thank God for her. Not everyone gets a mate to share their passion. Love your work style, I've three hotrods to paint, without a garage. Thanks
Proper prep work is the key to a good paint job.
Yes
paint is what shows off the quality of the body work...
"lip gloss on a cold sore" is what we called it when the prep was of poor quality
We called it,lip stick on a pig or a splash and dash
Congratulations to Harley! They looked fantastic and in that car was picture perfect!
I had painted a few cars about 25 years ago with good results. Recently I painted my 240z and felt lost. Paint turned out terrible. You have shown me where I made my mistakes and how to get better results. Refreshed my memory and got me excited to try again.😊
The paint job is going to come out amazing haters are going to hate because they can't do the kind of work you do
This is the most important part of getting the job done right. Thanks for taking the time to show this. Thanks for all you two do.
Your body work skills are great, but your outlook on life is even better. Great stuff.
I hand blocked my last build but after watching Chad I've bought a porter cable D/A and it makes life sooo much easier. Keep the tips coming. Thanks

A better education means a better paying job and more benefits down the road
I'm aware of this guide coat step but it never hurts to refresh the memory at my age! lol
Can't wait to see this car in paint. Chad does a great job with the sanding and Queen Jolene gets the great camera shots.
I really like watching your videos. Keep up the good work.

I appreciate you two and every time I watch your video's or rewatch them I learn something or I understand further....
Bad Chad does awesome work
