SUPER SIMPLE & EASY MOB XP FARM Tutorial 1.16+

This mob farm will work with any version of minecraft. Bedrock (MCPE,Win10,Mobile,XBOX,Ps4,Nintendo Switch) and Java!
This is a super simple and easy mob xp farm. It requires no redstone and also no mob spawner! You can build it almost anywhere!

If You're building this in 1.18 replace the buttons with trapdoors

If getting no mobs do these thing
1 light up everything around ur farm with torches caves if u can
2 the most important go on top of ur farm and build up 80 blocks afk their for 5mins and then go down and kill all the mobs that’s how mobs spawn

Yes, just make sure there isn’t a spot for them to spawn

Quick tip, Mojang is changing job behavior, so you will need to replace the buttons with trapdoors.

You can use on the slab like carpets its pretty cheap to get wool

Yes! The reason I said to use slabs is only due to people being able to get lots of stone early on.

No it's the same as land and ocean

Making this in the middle of an ocean will give you the benefit of not lighting up any caves around

Hey when I throw something at the hoppers it doesn’t go in the chest can u tell me why and tell me how to fix it

Your hoppers are not leading into the chest I would assume, so the 2 connected to the chest need to be facing the chests all of the others should find a way to those. Make sure to crouch when doing this, the nozzle on the bottom of the hoppers will indicate the direction they are going.

For you to get xp you have to kill the mob, you could do a trident killer or set the height of how far they fall to 22 and kill them at the bottom.

So with the way I set it up in the video no, but if you were to instead just build up 22 blocks from the chest area, you could stand at the bottom and kill the mobs yourself. Make sure to only leave one gap and put a half slab in the gap for the baby zombies.
