Not a room per say, but if you see the chiseled blackstone in bastions, there's often a block of gold under or behind it! It's like a fun little treasure hunt!
I had no idea about the “secret room” in the deep dark. How super cool that the devs try to teach players about the mechanics. Also, I’ve never been to a bastion. Thanks for another great video, Andrew.
I really wish that the small structure from the first showcase of the deep dark was added. It could have been a nice introduction when players find an ancient city.
I’ve been playing Minecraft for 10 years. I’ve been watching you for about that long. My long term survival world is 5/6 years old and I live in what used to be a woodland mansion that I have turned into something else and I JUST learned from you in this video about several of those woodland mansion secret rooms. I knew of about 3 or 4 of them but I had no idea about the spider or diamond ones! Thanks! I need to search your old videos, but my world MAY have come from an old seed Sunday of yours. It was a WM with a village on a “mountain” at spawn. I’ve made a lot of changes, so it’s very different now. Maybe I’ll share it so you can make fun of it on a realm review.
When i made a new world in 1.18, i settled in a plains biome adjacent to a snowy plains and snowy mountain. One day, when i went to dig some coal from the mountain caves, i went through a speggheti of a cave system into a big cave. I noticed an unusual thing there. I coupd see a blob of chiseled stone and stone bricks having from the top of the cave. Turns out, the mountain had an igloo at its peak, and the basement was freely hanging in the cave.
Fun fact: there’s actually different variations of it. Sometimes it will open by just walking, sometimes it will open after eating something (that’s what the Golden Apple is for, that’s also why you don’t always get a chest there!) I think there was even one where you had to shoot an arrow.
Knew a lot of these but thank you for putting them all in one place. Good reference video anytime i need. I do want that woodland mansion seed. The one with 5 secrets and tje jungle temple. Great idea for a seed sunday!
Also you missed another one in the woodland mansion, inside the vindicator statue, there is a block of lapis, so potentially you could find 2 blocks of diamonds and a lapis block
It's a very interesting video, but the next time you're showing something in a dark place, please have mercy and place a torch; I could barely see what's inside some of those secret rooms.
Outro joke was funny AND appropriate to the topic at hand, 9/10! Okay, so we *REALLY* need a woodland mansion seed from Cracked Magnet; maximum woodland mansions within 1000, maybe 2000 (if that helps a lot) blocks of spawn! 🥺🙏❤
In the woodland mansion, there's also a weird skinny hallway that goes up and down and leads to a chest. I remember finding it in somr mansions back in the day

In a desert village, find the zig zag house (the house that you can go trough while going trough a zigzag like pattern) and break into it's hifher foundation. There is a secret room in there that can be turned into a cellar. It even has a torch inside.
When I found my first Woodland Mansion I made a point to take down all the walls to find stuff because it was clear that some parts of the structure had no access points. Got a decent amount of loot from that.
In the Woodland Mansion I thought there were secret blocks like diamonds gold, and maybe others inside the wool statues. Sometimes behind those statues there is another secret room.
theres also a hard to spot 1 block wide winding hallway that can generate in woodland mansions that go up and down and spiral and at the end of the hallway is just a chest, i only know about this cuz it used to be in the woodland mansion preset seed that could be found on pocket edition which i think got changed when seed parity came around but i could be wrong about that as i havent played pocket in a while since i havent really had any need to yes it is technically open however its not the easiest thing to spot in the slightest, least not in the context i found it in

The Ocean Temple secret room is a good base frame to build a conduit so you can breathe and see through the whole place.

You missed a secret room in the Woodland mansion. It's usually just a long twisty hallway with slab stairs. That takes you to a chest.
