    Since first seeing your video years ago, I have seen many, many similar ones. Your micro-kit is by far, the most complete, and certainly the neatest organized one I've ever seen. Good job.

    Like that "square" kit. I have those holders. But so many black items--hard to see if dropped, especially in an emergency. You could lose your water bottle in an emergency situation. The idea of carrying an EDC emergency kit like this in your pocket is in case you don't end up having all you started out with that day for whatever reason. Thanks for taking the time with the video!

    Good kits. BCB makes a small firesteel which has a working mini compass in the handle. I would carry a smaller needle already threaded with black thread or dental floss. Old camera cases or pencil cases can be be bought for next to nothing at thrift shops.

    One thing I think people always forget to put in this small kits is superglue. You can get those single time use ones that are small. Can use it for so many things. Main reason i keep it is for cuts.

    One item I might suggest to include would be an ace bandage, since ankle sprains are one of the most common injuries you might have to deal with out in the woods. Thanks for the video!

    Hello friend , follow your videos here from Brazil . I left the Altoids tin for my EDC and bought a container as you presents in the video, much better to carry. Thanks for posting your video.

    nice microkits, i like the smaller black box with orange linings on it
    but i kinda think i had that idea already long time ago, i had many boxes of that kind too, but well if i go out i just need some pocket knives and such things like that just hanging around my pants, i use those boxes for my camera, box of meds, for tarot cards and yes a mini kits too, such a very useful and convenient thing to have because you can't just drag along tool box on your way.

    Suggestion for anyone carrying a flashlight in such a kit. Include a Diffuser for your flashlight. That enables your light to double has a lantern to illuminate an area.

    High end sunglass cases, hard and soft are great to use too cuz some are waterproof have belt clips, plus I don't feel so bad about the fate of many pairs of expensive glasses ! ;)

  • @pistolpetepeterson
    @pistolpetepeterson 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    not bad, Ive been looking for an edc kinda kit thats not an altoids tin (dont get me wrong they are good kits) and I was looking into small small cases and this gave me a couple ideas. maybe a soft belt cellphone case or something something that will hold credit card size items to take advantage of some of those things. more for urban edc then wilderness. but something to get me from where i am to my get home/bug out bag in the truck. maybe a card knife, an escape card and lock pick set with light and some fire,water, cordage and first aid minimalist stuff.

    I think these can be useful in a purse or pocket if you can't carry anything else. Its something no doubt. I know several people carry the stuff on keychains instead of in pouches. I'm still undecided which is better.

    Things to think about, thank you! I noticed the sailmakers needle had a flat side on it. That is crazy helpful, it won't roll, ie, you won't lose it when you need it. I also love the tiny flashlights. Unfortunately, my amazon-fu shows the Squirt back up over $25 :(. Thank you again, much to consider!
