Thank you for making this video for us! It was really well made. We booked the car last year and are desperately waiting to see all these reviews finally. Very informative and useful. Cheers, guys!
Off road capability is simply brilliant even with its stock factory set of tyres. Fuel efficiency is good. Love the compact size, This could easily slice through traffic on jam packed roads and on narrow mountain passes and village roads. Reliability, service network and support as well as customer satisfaction, resale value (just check the market price of an old Gypsy) of Suzukis are the or among the best in the country. Only con is the space inside but the pros outweigh that single con on multiple counts. So it's a 9/10 car.
More more to you 91Wheels, love your practical tests , I , for sure have a clarity on this car. A perfect small family car who enjoy sedate driving on high and fun off the road :)
Bro, Do you guys really get breaks, I was just watching around review videos and baam !!! you've come up with a mileage run already...!!!! Amazing speed

Super informative video as always … Been following you ever since you did a walkaround… from South India . Request more of English in your videos, our knowledge of Hindi is weak! Keep up the good work 👍. What would be your choice AT / MT if you were to get one… let us know
While Jimny is certainly a very competent offroader and a very tempting proposition, as a person who travels with family, I would prefer the Grand Vitara AWD over this.
This is stupendous FE for a mountain goat ! Thanks for the great coverage of near ideal family run conditions on the Jimny. One question, though.. Would the AT return similar FE figures ? Another pertinent question... What is the turn-ability of this car with a 5.7m turning radius ? Will it pose a problem with tight fitting basement parking lots ? How about tight turns such as the one leading up to the Hanuman Mandir in Shimla ? (As a reference, my ARIA 4x2 Pure could not make it in one go, had to stop and do a 3 point on a steep incline). Well, the length would matter here, I guess.. I can safely assume this will return at least 15kpl in Delhi traffic conditions with a light foot. What does team 91 say ??
@@donChandrapur Got a combined average of 12.7 kpl (incl about 60 km in city, daily traffic) for onward Bhopal-Indore-Ujjain leg. The return was straight Ujjain-Bhopal, in which the Jimny returned 15.45 kpl, all measured TF to TF. The display was showing 16.2 kpl on the return leg. I'm truly impressed.
@@aazamyousuf4312 I own the Alpha AT. It returns 14.5 - 15.2 kpl on highways, depending on speed and road conditions. City runs with 1/2 gear and bumper to bumper traffic however returns only about 10kpl.
Perfect for a family of four....go anywhere, no worries only highway drive is compromised as not very stable in high speed on hills with turning roads ,also wish it was factory turbo engine
Hi, I would like to upgrade to 215/75/R15 AT from the stock tires. Would this cause any difference in the overall performance of the vehicle. Also I wanted to know that this being a new vehicle, would the wheel alignment post tire replacement be a difficult job ? I just don’t want to have any unnecessary problems on a new vehicle. Any help or suggestion is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
If you can't rely on the reading that the vehicle software/displayed for the mileage, that is the FIRST negative. The SECOND negative is that the back seats do not recline. I say this, despite been one of the first to book one. Now we wait for the 5/6/23 for the P R I C E ????
I've just booked one and test drove both the versions. I frankly preferred the MT and instantly booked one. Dunno why but the AT is pretty disappointing to drive.
I think this is the first I am seeing Jimny being driven with 4 on board for a mileage test. I think the city mileage could drop down to around 12-13kmpl. Also the Jimny rear seat does get reclining option but only marginal one. The rear sear squab I feel can be fixed if and when one gets seat covers done but yes, MS had to address that during testing. How was braking with 4 on board? Did it struggle to overtake on winding roads?
Good video sir, but suddenly my attention went to timing on reciept which shows 18.45 and time in car was 2.44, then i checked start time it was around 12.05 so a 2.45 hours drive. so the clock in car was not set properly or what?
Front seats are Comfortable, for Rear we can do some modifications from a Good modifier for that extraa comfort, Iska Power to Weight Ratio will play a Major Role like Gypsy in Off Road better then Thar or etc, now this will see in J&K, UK, Shimla etc
Hardly any flaw with the vehicle , simply add extra foam to seats and new seatcovers , a wooden panel just below power window controls for extra utility space extending to side of gear shift controls will make this 10/10.
The width is a bit sad. Look at the driver and the front passenger. They can literally link arms like a teenage lovey-dovey couple while driving. No offense to their size though, I'm a big guy too lol
One step hoti h recline ....baki front seats ka comfort next level h which reminds you about grand vitara or hyryder much better seats as compared to thar
That is for namesake only. It has one step just recline so that Maruti can mention it in brochure. The recline hardly changes anything. The rear seat recline angle is too sharp.
Launch kar ki raha hein to proper 5/6 seater wali Jimny launch karni thi,. Kya ye adhe adhure wali gaari nikaal ni. In NextGen, Maruti Suzuki should totally focus on space for 5_6 adults seating capacity. Aur.......tyre size to kuch jyada hi chota ho gaya. Muje to laga isme Autorickshaw/ tempo ki tyre laga di hein.
Lol... First rear passenger said... Bohot achi chize hain.. open windows hai.. 😬😬 I realised later..may be he is saying in context to thar's rear seating 😅😅👍🏻

The only concern is whether one would feel the lack of power during overtake manoeuvere or when you want to move ahead fast especially on long drives and crunching miles…
Not good for family because of its small in size and even its back side window is only half but no one is speaking about it. Common man show the reality.
Bakwas gaadi hai, Clutch feels like hard rubber and 3 speed AMT not at all enjoying. The vehicle is too costly for what it is offering be it zeta Or alfa, there is no reason for choosing jimny over thar if you want to do offroading and also highway drives

True and practical offroader
Jimny is a small rugged SUV, for rugged people, for driving on rugged roads.
Family wale..bhul jayein..
Very good video. Answered lot of points. Thanks a lot !!
Mileage is great in open roads I think.
Team 91 never disappoints.Great work guys.
Wow..I love this Jimny men.. Every thing is fine.. except the price 😂
Ab to wo bhi fine ho gaya
I think it good mileage considering the engine and gear ratio tuned for pure SUV character. 👌🚙
Which is more practical between ignis and jimny
Depends on use case
@@ishowspeedy21 Thanks for the reply
The effort is commendable.
Suzuki need to reduce the price below 12 for Zeta, if really want to see same craze for the vehicle as was before it launch

My only query is that due to the current heat which is a norm in Indian summers is the autocut accurate for calculating fuel economy?

Sir, please break the barrier by saying Fuel Economy. Mileage means how many miles/kms the car has clocked in it's lifetime at a given point in time.

Just read that the Launch will be on the 7th June as planned. India Today gave us the Wrong Date/Information, so unprofessional
i would buy bollero neo instead which offers more power and comfort only the fact to accpet it with a 4 x 2. but the diesel is a diesel is a diesel
basic calculation of Maruti jimmny 35000 booking with price of 25000
35000x25000 = 87,50,00,000
Top speed kya hai
@Paapochka good reply for a stupid qn. This is not a racing car for checking top speed, that too in India 😂

Anything above 80kmph on ladder frame chassis is unsafe.

Not at all

Should compare with bolero not with thar
Maruti introduce two things in aruti.......gear vibrations 😂......low mileage.......😅😅😅
कहने का मतलब कि thar खरीदना ही सही रहेगा ,,,, right ?
Its not a familuy car by any LONG STRETCH.
Buy only if offroading is priority.
Interior and quality looks like 2001 car.
Waiting for Thar 5 door otherwise I'll book Harrier
Overtakes on long drives will be a pain in this. It is good for city use and weekend off-roading trips near to your place.

Bro India is market where they marketed nano as a car for family. People bought. This will sell like hot cakes.
80 km speed @ 2500 rpm it need a 6 speed gearbox
Maruti increase dimension of this car atleast 2 inch in width and 2 inch in length, else intrest is dropping in
