    Excellent work, especially the underground image, it can be so crowded on the underground.

    loved watching, great shots! if you dont mind me asking what your set up is in terms of POV camera and strap?

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching! In this video I used the GoPro Hero 11 on a clip that attaches to the front strap of my backpack. Although it's not often centered, it's really quick/practical when on the go, commuting in London etc.

    Nice video - Love my GRIIIx. What chest camera setup do you use?

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, yes I'm enjoying it the more I use it. For this video, and most of my others, it's a combination of the 'chesty' harness and the backpack strap clip (majority of shots because it's so quick to attach/detach while commuting).

      @@po.ntandshoot Nice - is it some form of GoPro?

      @@davidholt8937 oops! Forgot to say, it's the GoPro Hero 11 in horizontal lock mode.

    Hi Mark 😊, I'm Devakirti from Italy. what shutter speed and aperture do you usually use with the Ricoh GR III X I have problems when I shoot fast scenes, because the autofocus is a bit slow, you use some tricks; thanks, good photos. excuse for my english I use google translatore

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching. If I'm prioritising moving subjects then I use snap focus 1.5m-2m if they are near. This removes the focusing time, so it's rapid. For a wider view I use AF continuous tracking on the subject, which I agree can be a bit slow....and frustrating at times.

    Nice edits - but I think its a bit creepy, to shoot straight in peoples faces 😀 Did you edit the photos afterwards or are they straight out of camera?

      Felt pretty comfy in my hometown! In this video, I edited them in Lightroom. Thanks for watching -

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey, I shoot RAW + JPEG (Fine), but ultimately use the RAW file to edit etc.

      Thanks, it means a lot! I need to make a video of it as quite a number of people have asked now...it's a different style of video to what I'm used to, but I think I need to just do it.

    Thank you, I really enjoyed that, parts of London I know well. One question ... do you generally take a single shot of everything as the video reveals or multiple shots as I do? And end up with 1000 pics to look through after one hour!

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for popping by. If I'm on the move I'd usually take 3-5 shots on continuous mode, so a quick squeeze. Otherwise I quite often take 1-2 if I've already set the shot up.

    Are these images right from the camera or were they edited? The colors are beautiful

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! They are edited with Ricoh's Positive Film preset (plus a few other tweaks) in post, but I also have the camera preview in the same preset as well when shooting.

    Were you using the snap focus feature in this video

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the moving subjects / portraits I was using snap focus (usually between 1.5m - 2m). The rest are with single point, where I have a bit more time to compose.

    Are JPEGs nicer SOOC on the Ricoh than a Fuji in your opinion?

    • @po.ntandshoot
      @po.ntandshoot  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tough one, but for me, classic Chrome straight out of camera is hard to beat. I've spent far more time with the X-Pro 3 though, so it may not be the fairest comparison.
