He was worried that the great songs by Don Walker were not radio friendly..... and he spoke to Steve who told him of his song Forever Now, Flame Trees and When the War is over, and Jimmy's song You've Got Nothing I need, and he knew these where the songs 🎵 that were going to complete the album..... 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I don't like saying i have a favourite Cold Chisel song but it is definitely in my top 5. The band members all make guest appearances in the film clip, except Jimmy but he is seen in the live footage on the tv towards the end. I've driven through the old suburb many times and you think you are going to run into an old friend or love but you don't because they have all moved away as I have. @SaeedReacts. Khe San was a monumental US action in Vietnam. The Aussies had nothing to do with Khe San, we had our own battles and actions......but Khe San was chosen for the song because it flowed better than Long Tan or any of the other Aussie actions.

You might like Khe Sanh (Cold chisel) but I recommend a version with subtitles (it's about an Australian Vietnam veteran, like "I was only 19")
