Preach Adrienne you can see how much she has evolved, Israel has truly brought out the best version of her. Adrienne is more mature, she's acting again, she got her passion back for singing. Adrienne is just thriving in life, she's never been more confident. I can say the same for Jeannie and Loni you can see they are in healthy relationships, you just see the change to them and its been for the better.

You can absolutely lose yourself in a relationship. It can break you’re entire sense of self and change you as a person. As for who’s fault? I think it takes 2 to tango. I wouldn’t say a woman’s behavior is a direct result of how her man is treating her, but I do think that’s the case in some situations. In others (as Jeannie mentioned), the woman is just acting a fool and the man isn’t involved.
Overall, each individual in the relationship must take inventory of their part and take responsibility. Sometimes in relationships we have hidden expectations and agendas that we either hide from ourselves or don’t care to pay attention to. As Loni says, this is where we can be our own demise because we don’t know what we want and expect someone else to know and give it to us then get angry when our mind wasn’t read properly.
Either way, in relationships… it is often not just a one sided problem. Usually, both parties contribute to the issue.

I actually kinda agree with this. My wife was in a toxic relationship before me with a person I have learned is super narcissistic. The way they fought and even got physical.
Because I treat her better and differently and bring her peace....we never argue and yell at each other first of all abd from what her friends and family say they have never seen her like this.
I think a woman is a reflection of how she is being treated.
Take Jeannie Mai for example as well.
    Different women with Freddie.
Better woman with Jeezy. Super different in the opposite way

I believe it too. A good relationship does not dim your light. A good relationship is NOT struggle love. Granted, every relationship needs to be nurtured. Be it child and parent. I’m an expert on this subject lol. No hate please just being honest. I am in a very toxic relationship. My husband and I just had a fight about this this weekend.
When we first got married I was so nice and always did things for him and put his needs above my own and what did I get for it? Just a whole lotta tears. He has never been unfaithful, as far as I know, and never been physically abusive but man when he is upset he knows where to poke until I cry. After years I got tired and I would still cry but I would fight back, but of course words don’t hurt them like they hurt us.
We are fine most of the time. This weekend I got all dolled up and I asked him “how do i look” and he just gives me a look and keeps on walking and this is usually his answer. We were going to get tacos and when we got there I asked him to go order and I would stay with the kids so they could eat their happy meals and he said “let’s just go home then.” I snapped. I told him how I felt like he just wants me to do everything for him but he won’t do anything for me and that he would rather drive all the way back home and blame me instead of getting in line and ordering and how this is how he is about everything. I may or may not have yelled it at him but I just hit my breaking point. This man had the nerve to look at me and say “ you see, this is why I don’t do anything for you or answer you when you ask me how you look. Because eventually you do stupid things like this.” He said he is the way he is because of how I am. I’m the kind of person that when I’m wrong I will say I’m wrong but I became this because of how he treated me and I was patient with him for so many years before I started standing up for myself. So yes, I agree that if I “act crazy” it’s definitely because of his behavior. I know I need to learn to not let him get to me and that’s on me. But that’s just straight up gaslighting. It feels so good to get that off my chest lol.

My husband keeps doing things that look like cheating. Saying he's doing overtime but find out he went to a hotel. I have found pregnancy receipts that were not for me. Missing condoms and heard phone conversations with a seductive tone and when confronted immediately hung up the phone, when I i offered to speak to the person on the other side of it. Now I never caught him in the act but im sick of it. So my reaction is to be guarded towards him. And any wifely duties are done as a mandatory act rather than out of love. He keeps telling me I'm not acting like a wife. After all the things he has done. I cannot give myself to him lovingly. So I understand when Jeannie says reactions can be based on how the person treats you
