This sketch always seemed weird to me, because back when Kids in the Hall was originally on, Mark was the Kid I always forgot, not Kevin. So I'd see this sketch and kind of go "huh."
Right?! Exactly I always thought Mark was the most normal dude and thus my least favorite and most forgotten. I mean Kevin is I high pitched weirdo and plays a great chick how do you not love or remember him!
now I forget which one was the surprise 6th member in the '6th member of kids in the hall' sketch.. where it turned out one of the core 5 had fewer appearances than that one guy so HE was the 6th..
If i ever get to meet Kevin, its always been my Dream of referring to him as "La Poopie" to see if he remembers. i bet he does, but i figure it'd still be a funny way of showing him how much his comedy means to me still, even today.
@zobazoba69 So, basically French Jackass? I'm kinda more of a Jacques Tati type myself. Incidentally I happened to watch Jeunet's latest movie yesterday, "Micmacs". Really good, and some excellent mime/clowning performances.
@chronicleone Actually, I,m pretty sure they were making fun of france's preferences for «physical» humour, and as you can see, childish and out of date punch lines. And this observation is true, I,ve experienced it a few times in the past: one of the occurences being online and witnessing french people laughing at some dude puting a clown's nose on! Saying: il est rigolo celui-là!! lol
@Jcolinsol Good for you...but I didn't laugh so much , I was just shocked...felt I went back 50 years. But this sketch is pretty dated; isn't it from the late 80's? Anyway, I think the world has changed since then, with globalisation an all, this might not be the reality in today's France. First: ever heard of Rémi Gaillard? Secondly: I love french people, I have three french room mates, and one of them is very funy (normal funny!)...I sure would like to visit europe one of these days...sigh...
Kevin is among my TOP 5 favourite kids in the hall...Kevin "Le Pooh Pee" Mcdonald
I'm french and I confirm this, we do laugh pretty easily
hahahaha!!!
Are the baguettes really fresher and less expensive at Point "C"?
The 1:01 mark- nobody does pain like Kevin McDonald! His anguish is a universal language.
I love their mockery of french humour!
I love how badly he speaks French.
You should hear his English
😆 and yet they always pick him to do the French accents, how bad are the other guys?? 😆
"the baguettes are fresher and less expensive" quite accurate xD
Dave's expressions @3:12 got me dying
The French, as a people, are renowned for their love of physical comedy.
We love him in Winnipeg also...

I love that I enthusiastically reponded to a six year old comment. Nice going me
Same, always manage to forget about Mark.

@@KairuHakubi Berman!
Promised Le Poopie I would record his segment of the festival, but it slipped my mind. Tell you what, I'll make it up to him if he lets me.
"Je ne retournerai jamais au restaurant encore!"
dave's frenchman sounds so much like eugene hutz
"le poopee" hahaha
kevin has lots of memorable parts he isnt the 5th wheel
Kevin is my favorite Kid; therefore I feel attacked.
Kidding, a TH-cam video could never attack me. That's solely the role of Facebook posts.
What is with Dave and coffee cups? He even carried that habit over to "Newsradio".
Dave Foley drank legendary amounts of coffee back in those days.
Just seeing the credits after the sketch reminds me of the good ol' days.
hahahahaha "spaghetti", fucking priceless..
Now thats a great laugh track

Norm Hiscock.
1:15... That is exactly how it feels!
agreed....summer day no school 1 in the afternoon watchin kith on comedy central.
Oh, what goofiness! Hilarity abounds!
If Jerry Lewis saw this he'd call it a "train wreck."
judging by the spaghettI sketch, Canadian Kevin McDonald became popular in France by making fun of Italians
lol i wish i was so popular somewhere that people would love anything i did..
2 people are bitter because they are not big in France.
Kevin would play a decent Sarkozy.
That's me.
@chronicleone Yes, it's obviously based on the Jerry Louis thing.
...the audience they used in the scetch was laughing their asses off...I wonder what they were watching.....
@zobazoba69
Just your description of the guy watching the dude put on a clown nose is making me giggle.
@zobazoba69 Thank you, thats one of the most intelligent replys I have ever seen on youtube. thumbs up dude.
@resrevereverser different pronunciation
@zobazoba69 SUPERTROLL!
Are French-Canadians are passive-aggressive to Kevin McDonald?
Dirty frogs

@zobazoba69 They're also, you know, making fun of Kevin as the 'least funny kid'.
FAMILY GUY!
