The Kids in the Hall Comedy Punks S01E01 480p

The Kids in the Hall: Comedy Punks is a Canadian documentary film, directed by Reginald Harkema and released in 2022.[1] Released to coincide with Amazon Prime's relaunch of the influential Canadian sketch comedy series The Kids in the Hall and based partially on Paul Myers's 2018 book The Kids in the Hall: One Dumb Guy,[2] the film documents the history of the troupe through both archival footage and contemporary interviews with the members, largely filmed at The Rivoli, the Toronto club where the troupe got their start on stage.
The film also includes segments with other actors and comedians commenting on the troupe's influence, including Fred Armisen, Jay Baruchel, Eddie Izzard, Mae Martin, Mike Myers, Eric McCormack and Lorne Michaels.
The film premiered on March 15, 2022 at the SXSW festival,[4] and had its Canadian premiere at the 2022 Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival,[1] in advance of its launch on Amazon on May 20 as a companion to the new season of the series.[3]

I remember watching this show when I was a teen, back in Argentina, where I' m from, and loving it. These guys went all over the world in times when internet was science fiction.

I fell in love with these guys the first time I saw them on TV. I recorded every episode I could on VHS and would later show them to everyone I knew. A really good friend of mine who is gay absolutely lost it whenever Scott would do his thing and he became a huge Kids in the Hall fan. I like to think I introduced people to them who would have never seen their shows.

Ok... So I just got here from googling the cast of superstore. Have no idea about the kids in the hall, (wrong generation, wrong country) but this looks REAL GOOD! Who knew Glenn (Mark) was actually a comedy badass!

Amazing how much Bruce looks exactly like his younger self playing old man roles. He's definitely my favorite Kid, and that's not an easy choice to make.
