  • This was when the show ran for 3 hours on a Saturday morning - I remember having to front up at 7:30am & it was COLD in that studio!
Mind you, we probably felt so cold after doing 2 full gigs the night before & most of us had little or no sleep - which may help explain the bad mime.
Back then, bands weren't allowed to play live in that studio, even though the show was live, so the audio is a studio recording we'd done 2 years earlier...

The miming is obvious but the back up vocals are not sung by the girl in the video. The back up singer is Sharon Sims (Sharon Hinson Sims from the1981 live album 'All of us and Five Dollars a Night') Sharon Sims was originally from the very successful Sydney band 'Flake' and later 'Bondi Bitch Band' Sharon Sims was a standout in late 1960's and 1970's Australian music with a gold record to her credit.

Great performance. Better than Joe and mad dogs.

Where is the credit to Sharon Sims. This should actually be taken down as it is dishonest. The work was done by Sharon and no credit given. You should be ashamed of yourselves.............Not supporting Aussie talent peoples!!!!!!
