This seems to be sped up just a bit. I don't remember his voice being this high pitched. It seems a bit off from the lp album Firefall.

Was making a delivery from, Escondido to Calexico this morning. This came on, their oldie station, AM1230. This brought back, memories of growing up, in San Diego, near, Jack Murphy Stadium. Great times....

This song brings tears to my eyes and hurts my heart. I loved a girl named Sherry . She and I would go riding horses all the time. I lost Sherry. But I think about Sherry all the time. I'm 70 now and miss her every day. 🏴‍☠️

personal trivia...lived in Boulder in the early 1970s...a friend invited me to go listen to these guys at the door of their practice studio; a basement bunker in the Basemar shopping center- great memory!

What an under-rated album - Before We Were So Rudely Interrupted. Fire on the Sun is my favourite track. My elder brother bought his first turntable (an Amstrad music system) and borrowed this album and Ian Dury - New Boots and Panties from the record library. Both brilliant albums. And the sound quality blew me away as it was in stereo, and so much better than the previous albums that we had listened to on cassettes. (When I started work I treated myself to a LInn Axis which might be a couple of rungs up the audiophile ladder from Amstrad). I have a very soft spot for those two albums.
