It’s hard to believe why some people just don’t get Madonna’s empowering message!! Madonna is amazing and she has done a lot of beautiful and good things to improve people’s life… for instance, Madonna saved my life!!
❤️❤️ Big hugs to you!
She’s a self-made multi millionaire who achieved global fan, success, fortune through hard work, ambition, talent and determination.
❤️❤️
This woman is so inspiring. I don't get that some people don't get it.
They only focus on superficial stuff they see in the news
Always love seeing Debi Mazar. Such a cool woman in her own right and one of Madonna's only pre-fame friends she still regularly hangs out with.
Loved the "she said she was making a record but I didn't believe her" 🤣
Debi is the real deal. True blue friend.
Debi’s got such a beautiful Brooklyn accent
Completely agree - Debi seems like a very cool person. ❤️❤️
Isn't her story so extremely inspirational. She is a true rags to riches story. That's one of the reasons why I have so much respect for her. And so many people don't even know ow how she struggled and hustled. So inspiring. ❤
Completely agree! ❤️❤️
I really enjoy the Madonna interviews, she's amazing. 😎👍
❤️❤️
Madonna story is touching and inspiration.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️thank you beautiful women for your reaction ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Aww, you're always so sweet - Thank you! ❤️❤️
She is a survivor
19:07 Tenacity & drive x 1,000 💯🤩👏🏾
I just love this woman more and more!
❤️❤️
I absolutely love this programme. Madonna comes off so natural and quick witted. There's another one off special that she made here in England later in 1998 when she had the jet black hair for Channel 4 that really shows her fun side too. It's with a presenter called Johnny Vaughn.
Yes I like that interview
❤️❤️
Hey girls!!!! I’ve Just come back from Rio, I was right there at the Celebration concert in Copacabana, it was beyond amazing!!!! Please pleeeaseee react to the live tv transmission of that night, so you can compare it to the show you attended. Love you both!!!
Wow!!!! We can't even imagine how incredible it must've been to be there in person - We're so happy for you!! ❤️❤️🎉🎉
And yes, we'll react to this performance of Celebration Tour - Can't wait to see it! Sending lots of love your way. ❤️
There was at least 1.6 million people there, singing along her biggest hits!! It was wild!!!
Never saw this... giving me anxiety and warm feelings about my move to NYC at 20. Very much the same experience, crying every night, yet refusing to quit and go home. My favorite club was Danceteria, and remember Madonna, Debbie and Nile all hanging out, and remember Madonna picking up bottles and glasses, maybe for a few bucks. Amazing time though, wouldn't trade it for anything. Great reaction as alaways.
Aww, thank you so much much! ❤️❤️
This must be wild for you to see since you have so many memories and connections to this experience! And to get through those challenges at such a young age, you clearly had great tenacity and drive as well. Big hugs to you! ❤️

I came out to her music at the clubs and have been a faithful follower since. She definitely rules the world. Iconic, amazing. Thank you ladies for your reactions, I really enjoy your videos and comments and great to see you watching the Madonna from beginning and her whirlwind life.

I love her ray of light look so much.
What a great review ladies! Also, an unexpected surprise. Madonna is so adorable here. I love going down memory lane with her. Can’t wait for part two!
Have an amazing day! ❤️
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️ Such a fun interview and tour so far!
Have a great evening! ❤️
She’s the greatest! ♥️👑
❤️❤️
Hi girls! Madonna made history this May 04th. 2024 here in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro at the Copacabana beach with the Celebration tour with a record audience of 2 million people! It was amazing! 👏
Absolutely incredible!! What a perfect way to end this tour with such an amazing concert (and record attendance!). So excited and happy for everyone in Brazil!! ❤️❤️🎉
It is interesting that when this special was done it was about 15 years after her time in the building that they visited and that things were more or less the same. Now that another 26 years have passed, I'm sure that everything would be different; if the building still exists at all. Even though Madonna was at the top of her success at this time, it was really still quite early in her career. I remember watching this special -- it is scary how fast the time goes by. Little did she know that her life was still just beginning.
It's hard to believe 15 years into her career was still so early (with so much more still to come). ❤️❤️
And yes, it's definitely scary how quickly the time goes!
The good thing is she stayed pretty much grounded she got a good work ethic, another reason why she done so well . She didn’t get it given to her she worked hard for it for years b4 she came famous, and still works hard .I don’t think she would ever let her kids bum around she definitely believes in working hard .
Yes! A great work ethic is so important! ❤️❤️
I've never seen this special before. Loved it as much as you both did. It was funny to think at this time, she didn't imagine herself still making pop songs and doing large concert tours in her 50s, little did know what she would still be doing at 65 and how happy I am that she still is !!!
It was so fun to watch this (especially after going to her concert in April and hearing about the crowd size in Rio!). Madonna from 1998 would've definitely been surprised by Madonna in 2023/2024! ❤️❤️
I absolutely love this reaction ❤
Aww, you're very sweet - Thank you! ❤️❤️
Congratulations ladies - another great video ❤❤❤xxxxxx
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️ Big hugs to you!
Wait that guy in the food shop offered Madonna to buy her own nude pics back so he wouldnt leak them? And she didnt care and was like ''You can make some money if you sell them, if i wanna see myself naked, i just look in the mirror' hahahaha what a boss attitude.
Shows how even when shes on camera people have no shame and trying to use her for money. It's actually quite sad. She probably felt like that for 15 years at that time.
Can you believe he said that to her? And she handled it with such ease and humor.
Can't even imagine how many other similar experiences she had over the years.
@@OurAnxiousReactions It was basicly threatening and on camera. Buy them or i will leak them and she just couldnt care less about it. She was so graceful but the more i think about it, the more unpleasant it really was. She was not getting threatened, sell your pics man.
Loved watching this with you guys! I used to watch this over and over after it first aired on VH1 in 1998. I love seeing her early days back when NYC was bursting with so much talent and energy. I look forward to Part 2 with you two. 🥰🥰
Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️
We can definitely see why you watched this over and over - Such a fun interview and look back on her early career in NY! ❤️
You must see ..the interview in Oprah 1996❤
She is so smart....
So glad you covered this video…I watched it a few times during my own deep dive Madonna journey during the Covid lockdown. It was so fascinating how compelling her life story is specially during her early years struggling to find her niche in NYC. I admire her self-discipline, her drive, sharp wit and down to earth persona-how well she navigated the harsh environment and how she related to ordinary people in the tough neighborhoods she lived. Thank goodness she didn’t succumbed to despair or given up by turning to drugs/alcohol addiction, prostitution and neglect/other risky behavior that had befallen many who found themselves in her situation.
It’s an inspiring story of perseverance, grit and grace under very challenging situations. Good karma and charisma has a way to guiding and helping her along the way. ❤😊
"I admire her self-discipline, her drive, sharp wit and down to earth persona-how well she navigated the harsh environment and how she related to ordinary people in the tough neighborhoods she lived."
Very well said! And those qualities really saw her through some trying times - Definitely an inspiration! ❤️❤️
what a journey!!!
❤️❤️
Hi guys ❤❤
I just love this documentary
Look to your part 2!
❤❤
Thank you for being here and watching with us! ❤️❤️
thank you for this video
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Thank you for this reaction which shows her early struggles as a young woman with a dream. I really enjoy your videos and I hope you continue this Madonna journey which will keep getting better and better. I can't wait for part 2!🥰🙌
Aww, you're so kind- Thank you! ❤️❤️
I loved it. Can’t wait for ur react to the Madonna Celebration in Rio with the recording setting crowd
❤️❤️
Thank so much for it! Can’t wait for Part 2 (and I hope in the Ultrasound Special too!).
Thank you! ❤️❤️
It’s funny she just mentions “my manager” but doesn’t say it was Camille Barbone. If I’m not mistaken, Camille sued her later on for breaking their contract or something along those lines. But it was her who took Madonna out of the music building and wanted Madonna to work on a more rock approach to her sound. But Madonna wanted something funkier and dancier, so she did this with Steve Bray. Their work originated songs like Burning Up and Everybody. That first song we hear there, Love On The Run, came from her years with Camille and it was the manager herself who made the song public back in 1993.
Thank you for sharing that story with us! ❤️❤️
We're so appreciative that you take the time to fill us in on these background stories - They really enrich this Madonna journey for us! Big hugs!❤️
@@OurAnxiousReactions it’s my pleasure! Glad to know these pieces of info are enriching your journey 😊 hugs!
She’s the real Jenny From the Block.
I do think she has lost that down to earth quality of hers lately… but I think its due to social media… no one can escape from it, but yeah she was still so cool and down to earth back then when she was already larger than life, and to think this was only 15 years into her career!
Can't believe this was still so early in her career (yet she had already achieved so much). ❤️❤️
And it's amazing how many great interviews/specials like this were on VH1 and MTV during that time period.
@@OurAnxiousReactions yessss I loved it when MTV and VH1 did those deep dives into the artists lives and stories
Have you seen the Madonna TV movie from The 90s. It goes in depth to her early YEARS in NY
We haven't seen that one - Sounds interesting though! ❤️❤️
