Madonna plays; drums, piano, electric and acoustic guitar, ukelele. She also sings, writes, composes, dances, directs movies and acts. The woman has done it all! She's just closed her Celebration World Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with an audience of more than 1.6 million people, the biggest concert for a standalone artist in music history.
Madonna strums a few chords. There are junior high kids in garages all over America that would play crcles out here. In fact, Madonna wasn't particularly talented at any asspect of music with the exception of being outrageous and marketing herself.
@@MarkMay-cr6bv lol she plays guitar, piano, drums, sings, dancers, writes. I think she's doing OK. You don't stay at the top of your game for 40 years with just been "outrageous'. Keep hating though, she just played to 1.6 million people last night at the end of her massive tour.
Madonna got her start in a couple of post-punk bands in the late 70s/early 80s in NY. There's some footage on TH-cam of her singing in that style. She also sings in a more punk/rock inflection when she does "Burning Up" on tour. Check it out!
Sadly it wasn't Pantera. They broke up in 2003. Dimebag was killed on stage in 2004 for Damage Plan. She did go a bit Dimbag about three quarters of the way through.
She didn't collab with Pantera, she wanted to use guitar in that song, hired a guitar teacher, one of the exercises was a riff from a song New Level, Madonna liked it, they bought rights and used in live. That's it, she hasn't even heard a full Pantera song
Wrong. Madonna knows very well who Pantera is. Prior to being the Queen of Pop, she was actually a drummer, gutarist & vocalist in several rock & punk bands in NYC during the late 70's & very early 80's. Even playing at iconic rock places like CBGB's. When she opened her own label Maverick, under Sire/Warner, she signed Metal band Deftones, Marilyn Manson & Alternative artist Alanis Morisette, Candlebox, Goldfinger & others. Just cause someone is Pop, doesn't mean they dont like, appreaciate or see talent in other genres. There's a great story with The Deftones being in shock she showed up backstage after one of their shows to discover she was incognito in the audience & then offered them a record deal. They too were surprised she knew her sh*t.
@@ElectrikArguement you can dream of whatever you want, I don’t care, but that’s the story behind this riff used my Madonna, told by her guitar teacher. You can google things, you know

It’s amazing how Madonna never ever play the same version of a song. You have a different version of a song in every tour ❤
Life when there was no smart phone! I flew to Vancouver for this. It was amazing!
Writing this comment from a smartphone ...

Hello Madonna started in a band playing drums then moved to guitar and then as a singer in 2001 I started taking guitar lessons again

Conspiracy theorists said it had to do with MJ's death in 2009. Man seeing 70k go wild for Madonna is just awe inspiring
Well Madonna is not know for her great voice nor rock voice she uses what she has
